The ratings are in, and as usual, Raw still beat Nitro.
Raw did a 4.9 (with an 11.5 share) rating off of hours of 4.9 and 5.0. Those are the best numbers ever for a late-night Raw. This is very good news for the WWF, which means that many people were interested in watching after Summerslam. Raw opened with a 4.3 and peaked at a 5.2 for Lita vs Jackie.
Nitro, with much of their show unopposed (except the West Coast) did a 3.5 rating (with a 5.5 share) off of hours of 3.1 and 4.0. That is a solid number for WCW. Nitro opened at a 2.6. The show peaked at a 4.1 for the Nash/Booker T match and the very last segment.
