It looks like Stone Cold Steve Austin will return to WWF television on the September 25th episode of Raw is War. This incidentally will be the first Raw episode on TNN unless the USA Network is successful in its appeal of the Viacom/WWF agreement, since there has still been no verdict in the appeal even though one was expected days ago.
The London Times ran a story yesterday regarding the World Wide Fund for Nature's lawsuit against the World Wrestling Federation. I mentioned this one when word of the suit first came out several weeks ago. Basically the WWFN (as I'll refer to them to avoid confusion even though they technically go by the WWF acronym) claims that the WWF breached an agreement made between the two parties several years ago by registering website domain names such as WWF.com and WWFShopzone.com. The London Times story jokes that although the WWF has "such peculiarly aggressive wildlife" as Steve Austin and The Rock, the WWFN has a president emeritus in the form of Prince Philip, a "renowned marksman and game shooter". Maybe the best way to settle this thing is to put Prince Phillip and The Rock in a ring and let them go at it. My money would be on "The People's Champion" in a walk.
