| WCW STARRCAE Kidman d. Rey Mysterio, Jr. and Juventud Guerrera Cruiserweight Title Match At first, Mysterio and Kidman tried to work over Juvy, but soon all competitors were trying to take the Cruiserweight strap. A breathtaking match, with all men taking control, the bout was finally decided by Eddy Guerrero interference. But the LWO leader's interference ended up helping Kidman roll-up Guerrera for the win. Kidman d. Eddy Guerrero Cruiserweight Title Match Guerrero slapped around Juvy and screamed that he could beat Kidman himself. Kidman took him up on the offer, but said Guerrero had to wrestle him right then, in his street clothes. Eddy accepted and proceeded to severely punish the Cruiserweight Champion, but couldn't keep him down. With some help from Rey Mysterio, Jr., Kidman miraculously beat Guerrero with The Shooting Star Press. Norman Smiley d. Prince Iaukea The energized Smiley did a little dancing, and executed a lot of submission holds on the Prince. Iaukeau launched a small offensive, but tapped out when Smiley applied a chicken-wing submission. Saturn d. Ernest "The Cat" Miller with Onoo The Cat gave Saturn 5 seconds to leave the arena, but received a clothesline for his troubles. Saturn dominated most of the bout with painful mat holds; Miller fought back with a multitude of kicks and strikes. But when Onoo tried to help his charge with a kick, his attack missed and -- in the confusion -- The Cat felt the impact of the Death Valley Driver. Brian Adams and Scott Norton with Vincent d. Fit Finlay and Jerry Flynn Competitors in New Japan, The NWOers managed to keep Finlay in the ring and squash him with shoulder breakers and piledrivers. Flynn eventually got the tag and the match became a four man melee. After Vincent delivered a distraction, Norton finished his competitor with a Power Bomb. Konnan d. Chris Jericho TV Title Match A fantastic match, Jericho and Konnan took the battle both in-and-outside the ring. Jericho tried to used the title belt, but Konnan managed to kick out of a pinning attempt. A confused Jericho soon felt the pain of the pancake piledriver, and then the Tequila Sunrise. Jericho submitted. Eric Bischoff d. Ric Flair As expected, The Nature Boy annihilated the WCW/NWO President with chops, low blows and some classic wrestling nastiness. After referee Charles Robinson received a Flair elbow, The 13-time World Champion locked in the figure-four leglock and focused on breaking Bischoff's leg. Enter Curt Hennig. The man who once destroyed the Horsemen did his part once again, handing Bischoff brass knuckles Diamond Dallas Page d. Giant Page tried to use his speed early, but met with one of the most brutal beatings the Giant has ever administered. The monstrous NWOer repeatedly bear-hugged his opponent and delivered a chokeslam backbreaker. When DDP gained a little momentum, Bret Hart came to ringside with a chair, but ended up whacking Giant on the back. DDP still couldn't get a pinfall. Giant regained focus and went for the devastating super-chokeslam, but Page turned the maneuver into an off-the-top Diamond Cutter. Page gets the amazing underdog win. Kevin Nash d. Goldberg World Heavyweight Title An amazing battle of the big men, Nash survived a Head Spear and continued to wage war with the undefeated marvel. Goldberg survived run-ins from Disco Inferno and Bam Bam Bigelow but Scott Hall, dressed as security, tagged Goldberg with a taser. Unaware, Nash picked-up the confused World Champion, delivered the Truckstop Power Bomb and ended the amazing undefeated streak.
