Weaverham has been without its' own website for some time now. So a few of us locals got together and decided to put it on the map again! Welcome to all past, currrent and future Weaverhamites or as they were once called Russets. We have decided not to include any fancy whiz bang games at the moment. We are testing the market to see how many good folk in Weaverham are interested in joining in some local village chatter and gossip. And that includes those still in Weaverham at heart, your very welcome too! So do your own thing, keep it clean and wholesome and positive but we don't mind a bit of robust discussion either.

Weaverham often finds it difficult to feature in any exciting news so if you have some send it to admin through the contact page and we will include it here. But just to kick off we here that the Corvetts have had a great season under the tutilage of Pam, Ella, Claire, Sandra, and the team leaders, Lyndsey, Stacey, Emily, Debbie and Vicki and all those lovely girls of course that do all the performances! Well done all - we hear you have some great plans for 2006!

Well there's lots happening all the time if you look around. We have things for the young to participate in like the Corvetts, Wolves and Gymnasium. Not to mention the pool and library. For the slightly older there is the Weaverham History Society with regular fascinating visual talks! And remember these always a game of football, rugby or cricket to get involved in. If you have any other events that we don't know about let us know and we'll certainly include them!
