| jamie are you coming? yes mom, note all the guys are not famous, bsb never exists in this tory ok?) i was going to babysit for aaron! my mom and nicks mom were going on a business trip together. me and my mom went over to the carter's. (nick wasnt there) jane told me his brother nick was going to be home at 11:00,(i just moved to this neighborhood) my mom and jane left, me and aaron played video games and talked about each other, we were having so much fun we didint even know what time it was! then aaron looked up at the clock! oh my god! its 11:30, wow i said~! aint your brother supposed to be home at 11:00 i said, yewah, he went out with his friend brian, just them someone came throught the door, it was his brothetr nick! "aaron i'am so sorry for being late! "what happened aaron askeds. brians car had some trouble so we had to get help! oh, well this is the babysiter jamie. "hi!" he said shly. he was really cute i noticed. we just stared at each other for a minute. we were interupted bu aaron :hello! oh i said, you have to walk jamie home mom said. i know.oh no thats ok, i can walk bymyselfits not that far at all, no, i was the one who was l;ate and i will walk you home nick said>(whaT a gentel men! )im soo sorry i was late, ill have my mom pay you kore, no really thats ok, no, i will tell my mo to pay you more, i was about to say something but he said dont worry bout it!i coulnt argue with him anymore! aaron you got to get to bed! ok, ill be back in about 10 minutes. g-night aaron i said, g-night. me and nick both walked out the door and he wwlked me home, on the way there we didnt talk much since i didnt live that far! we got to my door and we said good-bye on the way to my house he just stared at me most of the time, i didnt mind, he was cute!! when we got to my door he said he was soo rry he was late, i said it's ok, "well bye" he said, well bye!"then he was on his way home! the next day>>> the phone rang... hi Aaron i said into the phone noticing the called I.D. said carter jane no actualy this is nick he said is a shy voice and befour he let me get a word in he asked me to a party a party? sure i said happly into the phone good than pick you up at 8:00? ok see you than nick bye bye and than he hung up. i sat on my bed kind of in a day drean when there was a knok on the door down staries crap it's 7:30 how long did i sit here? nick your early i said letting him in sorry i just could not wait any longed he said flashing one of those adorable smiles he always give i showed him to the living room and the playstation i ran up staries to get ready i took a quick shower blew dry my long blond hair curled it and pulled on a short dark green (nickys favort color)sun dress in under an hour i walked down staries nick looked at me wow you look great he said turning off the TV and putting his arm aroung my waist and well you dont look so bad your self i said in almost a whisper. you know nick i just moved here and was not to happy about leaving all my friend behind but thats all changed now he didn't say anything he just lok\oked at me and smiled the party was in full swing when they got there. It was being held outside around a big beautiful inground pool. It looked like a fairyland of twinkling lights. A band was playing and a dance floor was set up. The house belonged to a hotshot record producer. Nick told her how he and his friends had started this little group and were hoping to get noticed by the producer. Just as Nick took her hand to lead her onto the dance floor, another guy stepped in front of them. "Hey bro, where did you get such a beautiful lady?," the strange guy asked. "This is my friend AJ," Nick groaned. Before either of them could do anything AJ put his arm around her and pulled her onto the dance floor. A slow seductive song was playing and as he took her into his arms she felt the electicity between them build. He sang softly in her ear. She saw Nick out of the corner of her eye watching them. What was she going to do now? Jamie's heart was beating so fast she didn't know what to do. Aj was whispering sweet things in her ear and as the music ended he put his lips near her ear and gave her a very soft kiss. "You're the sweetest thing I've seen in a long time, please say your not Nick's girlfriend." AJ said. Before she could say anything Nick came over and gave AJ a dirty look,"This is my date man!" Aj put his hands up in the air."Hey, calm down, I didn't realize how it was with you. I'm hands off . Hope you know what kind of special girl you have here." Nick looked into Jamie's eyes,"I think I know what I've found." Aj squeezed Jamie's hand and looked sadly at her,"Call me if this guy doesn't treat you right." Aj put his hands in his pockets and left the party. Nick gave Jamie his whole attention the rest of the night. He was sweet and charming and made her laugh like no other guy she had ever met. At the end of the party Nick invited her the next day to hear the guys practice. She was thrilled to get the chance to go but Aj would be there. Could she stand to see him again? Would she still feels that same magic? Should she even go? She wanted to be with Nick but........Can you like two guys at the same time? + .J. looked over at nick and jamie who were in a deep kiss and than looked back at deb well A.J. said shall we dance? they left for the dance floor and began dancing to a slow song. Jamie knew that nick was the one she wanted now but she had to be sure. she through she loved the way nick could make the laught and the way he smiled and how she felt so warm and saft in his arms that she was the only one he cared about. now she turned back to A.J. he was really close to deb now she didnt care she was sertant she was in love with nick. Jamie walked off to get a drink she drank a little to much and got drunk she started rubbing on nick. nick wanted this so bad but he knew she was drunk so forced her away and carred her away to the door she was screaming now nick i want to stay i have to talk to A.J. A.J. heared his name and headed over to nick and jamie. Nick what are you doing he cryed?? Jamie grabed A.J. and they walked off A.J.? stop shes drunk no nick i think your the one drunk. nick knew he had to get her home but how? while he was in his own deep throught jamie and A.J. woundered JAMIE AND AJ LEFT THE PARTY LEAVING NICK TO WONDER WHY. AJ PUT JAMIE IN HIS CAR, AS HE GOT IN HE LEANED OVER TO KISS HER AND SHE PUCKED ALL OVER HIS 600.00 BELLY SHIRT. AT THIS POINT NICK COMES OUT IN HOPES THAT HE CAN STOP THEM AND GET JAMIE BACK. AJ TELLS HIM TO TAKE HER, HE HAS NO NEED FOR A DRUNKEN TWO TIMER WHO CAN'T MAKE UP HER MIND WHO SHE WANTS.AJ SPED AWAY LEAVING THEM IN HIS DUST. FEELING LONELY AND USED HE PULLS INTO A LAUNDRYMAT TO WASH HIS SHIRT. HE WALKS IN AND SEES ONLY THIS BEAUTIFULL WOMAN DOING HER WASH. HE THINKS JUST WHAT I NEED ANOTHER NUROTIC FEMALE. THE WOMAN PAYS HIM NO ATTENTION AS SHE DOES NOT KNOW WHO HE IS.AFTER A SHORT TIME THE WOMAN ASKS HIMIF HES OKAY BECAUSE HE SEEMS VERY UPSET. THIS MAKES HIM A LITTLE UPSET BECAUSE HE DOES NOT WANT TO GET CAUGHT UP IN ANOTHER TRIANGLE.HE FINALLY REALIZES THAT SHE DOES NOT KNOW WHO HE IS SO HE OPENS UP AND TELLS HER HIS TROUBLES,FEELINGS,AND THOUGHTS.THEY TALK FOR HOURS LIKE THEY WERE LONG TIME FRIENDS. AJ DIDN'T KNOW BEING WITH A WOMAN AND JUST TALKING COULD BE SO NICE. WHEN HER LAUNDRY WAS DONE SHE GOODBYE AND LEFT. AJ STOOD THERE FEELING WIERD BUT HAPPY. AS HE DROVE HOME HE COULD ONLY THINK OF THE WOMAN AT THE LAUNDRYMAT. HE HAD WISHED HE HAD GOTTEN HER NAME. WEEKS WENT BY AND STILL HE ONLY THOUGHT OF HER. HE WOULD GO TO THE LAUNDRYMAT EVERYDAY IN HOPES OF SEEING HER.THAN ONE DAY SHE WAS THERE HE BECAME SO EXCITED THAT HE RAN IN AND ASKED HER NAME. SHE LOOKED AT HIM A LITTLE STRANGLY,AND SAID ANDREA' . HE DIDN'T NOTICE ANY RINGS ON HER FINGERS SO HE TOOK A CHANCE AND ASKED HER IF SHE HAD EATTEN DINNER YET. SHE SAID SHE HAD BUT WOULD'NT MIND GETTING SOME COFFEE. THEY TALKED AND LAUGHED ALL NIGHT IT WAS THE BEST TIME AJ HAS HAD IN A LONG TIME. AROUND 1AM THEY WENT THERE SEPRATE WAYS BUT NOT BEFORE AJ GOT HER #, AND GAVE HER A VERY SLOW AND PASSIONATE KISS THAT MADE BOTH OF THEM MELT meanwhile nick took jamie to his house, he didint want her home alone!so he slept on the couch and she slept in his room! the next morning jamie woke up with a bad headache she didint nkw where she was . then she realized she was at nicks. she went downstairs and saw nick making breakfsat, :well good mornig" he said, yah, nick why do i have a headche, "well you got kind of drunk last night" OH MY GOd! this is embarrasing, heyt dont worry about it nick said, yah idi have to worry about it! oh god nick iam so sorry, dont worry i didnt mind taking care of you, your so sweet, she gave him a kiss on the cheek, he wanted it to be more than that, but he knew he had to take it slow, what are you making?? jamie asked, um.. i'm making eggs and bacon. i hope you'll like it" "yeah, of course. thanks again for everything. i hope i didn't embarrass myself too much last night. i don't know what came over me, i never drink like that." nick gave her his cute smile and that assured her that nothing changed the way he felt for her by what happened. "so what are you doing today?" jaime asked. "well, i was hoping we could hang out today...maybe go to disneyworld". that got jaime all excited, she'd never been there. "yeah, let's go!" :later that day: they arrived to the amusment park and as soon as they got in jaime gasped at who she saw standing 10 feet away staring coldly at her It was her ex-boy friend jon Hi jamie said to him he contuinded just staring at her finaly he said so whos the guy oh nick? she asked staring at nick well she said hes um my um boyfriend nick said smiling ya hes my boy friend jamie said geting closer to nick Who are you?" Nick asks. "I'm Jamie's EX-boyfriend," replies Jon stressing the ex part. "Ex?" asks Nick. "Yeah, Jamie and I used to date," says Jon. "I didn't know," Nick says and looks at Jamie. "Yeah, matter of fact, we broke up last week. I see it didn't take long to rebound, did it Jamie?" asks Jon crudely. Nick looks at Jamie with a hurt expression on his face. "Is that what I am, Jamie? Rebound material? Is that why you went out with me?" he asks firing one question after another. "Don't listen to him," pleads Jamie. "He's nothing but a jerk. Look we were an item for two months but last week I broke up with him because I saw him kissing another girl at a party like a week and a half ago. Please believe me when I say I like you for you and not because I'm on the rebound," she says to Nick. Nick takes a few moments to think about this and thinks to himself, "I really like this girl and I don't want to end a good thing. But what if she's on the rebound because her heart is broken like the jerk said? Oh well, I guess I'll have to take a chance and hope he's wrong." He looks at Jamie and says, "Let's just forget this guy and have a ourselves a great time." "Okay," Jamie replies with a sigh of relief. "I tell you man," Jon begins, "she's just on the rebound." "Whatever," responds Nick. Nick and Jamie walk away and decide to just have fun. They go on as many rides as possible and eat lots of junk food in between. Nick plays a lot of games and wins a lot of teddy bears and other stuffed animals for Jamie. Later in the evening, they go to a place to watch fireworks. As the fireworks go off, one of them is really big and bright and lights up the night sky beautifully. "Wow, look at that one, Nick," says Jamie. "Isn't it just beautiful?" "Yeah," he whispers softly but he isn't looking at the sky. Instead he's looking at Jamie. "What? What are you looking at? You weren't even watching the fireworks were you?" she asks playfully. "I don't need to watch fireworks when I feel them going off in my heart everytime I look at you," he says. "And looking into to your beautiful eyes lights up the sky for me." She looks down blushing and he tilts her head up by her chin and plants a soft kiss on her lips. They hold hands for the rest of the show. Afterwards, while they walk to Nick's car, he asks, "Do you want to stop at the beach before I take you home?" "Sure," Jamie replies. They get into his car and head for the beach Meanwhile, AJ can't stop thinking about Andrea, the girl he met at the Laundromat. "I got to get with her again," he thought to himself. He dials her number and a voice answers. "Hello?" "Andrea? It's me AJ." "Oh, hi AJ. How's it going?" she responds. "Well, I was wondering if you'll have dinner with me tomorrow tonight?" he asks. "Sure," she says. "Great. I'll pick you up at 8 PM," he says. "That's fine. Where are we going?" she questions. "It's a surprise," he says. "Um, I don't like surprises too much," she says. "Trust me," AJ begins, "you'll like this one." "Okay," she says hesitantly. "Bye." "See you tomorrow. Bye," AJ says. "Great" AJ thinks to himself. "I gotta come up with a surprise a she'll like". He can't think of anything so he calls his friend Kevin. "Hello," Kevin says. "Yo man, it's me AJ." "What's up?" Kevin asks. "I got this date tomorrow but I can't come up with anything good. Can you help me out?" asks AJ. "Okay, let's see…." ---------------- AJ arrived at Andrea's house that night a little late. He'd taken Kev's advice and packed a picnic basket and loaded it in the back of his car. He rang the bell and waited for Andrea to answer. When she came to the door she was wearing sweats and a t-shirt. AJ was a little surprised. Did she forget he was coming to pick her up? "Hey, I don't think I'm early am I"? asked AJ. "No, look I'm sorry, but I tried to call you earlier and I couldn't reach you. I can't go out tonight. My sister's in labor and I want to be home when my mom calls with any news. I'm really sorry." AJ thought for a second about the basket in the car. "No problem, if you can't come to me, I'll come to you." He went back to his car and took out the basket filled with food. He went inside and spread a blanket in middle of the living room floor. He set out the candles, and food, and then he looked up and smiled. "Surprise," he said in his smooth sexy voice. Andrea gave a little laugh. "Very innovative. I like it." They sat in the floor talking and enjoying they're "picnic". AJ moved closer to Andrea and started kissing her neck. Moving up to her chin, her nose, her eyes, avoiding the place that they both wanted him to go, her lips. The tension was building, and just as he started to kiss her deeply the phone rang. Andrea jumped, startled by the phone and then she ran to answer it. AJ could hear her from the bedroom, but he couldn't tell what she was saying. All of the sudden he heard he scream. He ran into the room, thinking it might be bad news. Andrea was sitting on the edge of her bed with tears in her eyes, but she was smiling. "IT'S A BOY!" she shouted. AJ sat down beside her and leaned into her. He just whispered congratulations aunt Andrea, as he started the slow torture of his kisses again. Andrea closed her eyes. This had to be the best night of her life. At Andrea's house... The next morning Andrea wakes up still wrapped in AJ's arms. She kisses him lightly on the lips. That stirs him awake. "Good morning sleepyhead," she says. "Good morning to you to," responds AJ. "I gotta get up and shower and go to work. Then later on, I'm going to the hospital to see my nephew," she says. "I really had a nice time last night." "Me too," says AJ. "Well, I gotta get up and go too. Supposed to meet my friends and then go to the audition." "Audition?" she asks rising out of the bed. AJ gets up too, starts getting dressed and said, "Yeah. We're a band who is trying to get noticed by a producer or record company." "Wow, that's cool," she replies. "I wish you all luck." She came around the other side of the bed where AJ was standing and gave him a kiss. "I'll walk you to the door." The walk to the door where they kissed goodbye. "Can I see you again?" asks AJ before he left. "Sure," she starts, "but I need to be with my sister right. You know, the whole baby thing. Anyway, I'll give you a call when I'm free. How's that?" "That's perfect," he says. "I'll be waiting by the phone day and night." "Ha ha! Very funny," she says. "Okay, bye." "Bye," he says and then went on his way. ------------------------------------------- At Nick's house... The phone is ringing and Mrs. Carter picks up, "Hello? Oh hi Jamie. Nick? No, he' not awake yet but I was just about to wake him up. If you don't mind waiting, I'll go wake him up." "Okay," says Jamie. Mrs. Carter goes to Nick's room and shakes him lightly to wake him up. "It's too early, Mom," Nick says and rolls over to go back to sleep. "Jamie's on the phone," she says teasingly. "Jamie? I get it in here," says Nick. "I bet that would get you out of bed," she says laughing. "Yeah, yeah, whatever," he says. Mrs. Carter leaves and Nick reaches over to pick the phone up. "Hello Jaime?" asks Nick. "Yep, it's me. Hope I'm not calling too early," Jamie says. "Nah, I was just getting up anyway," he replies. "Sure, sure," she says smiling to herself. "What's up?" Nick asks. "Nothing really. I was just wondering if I could go with you to the audition today," she says. "Sure," he replies. "No problem. Just let me shower and stuff and I'll be there in 45 minutes." "Okay, see you then," she says. "Goodbye." "Bye," he says. Nick gets out of bed and takes a shower. He gets dressed and says goodbye to his mom. He hops in his car and goes to pick Jamie up. As soon as he arrives at her house and she is coming out the door. "Hi there," she says hopping into his car. "Hi," he replies. "I hope you don't mind, but we're all meeting at Mickey D's for breakfast and then going to the audition from there." "I don't mind," she says. Nick drives to Mickey D's and during the drive they talk about the fun they had the last couple of days. It was obvious to Jamie that she really liked Nick a lot and Nick knew he liked Jamie a lot. -------------------------------------------- Arriving at Mickey D's... They arrive at McDonald's just as Kevin, Howie, AJ and Brian are walking to the door. He waves to them and parks his car. Jamie and Nick get out and then they all walk in together. "What's up y'all?" asks Brian. "How y'all feeling about today?" "I'm fine," says Kevin. "Me too," AJ and Howie say together. "Yeah, I'm alright too," says Nick. "I'm fine, thank you. If you ask me," begins Jaime, "I have a feeling that today will be your lucky day." "Really?" says Brian. "Let's hope so because I'm nervous." "Next please," says the cashier. They all order and then go sit down and to eat. "Nick," AJ begins, "I just want to apologize for trying to pick Jamie up the other night. I was acting like a real jerk. And Jamie, I apologize for not treating you nicely." "All's forgiven in my book," says Nick. "Mine too," says Jamie. "Guess what?" asks Howie. "What?" says Brian. "AJ's got a new love. Tell them about it," says Howie. "Is it Andrea?" asks Kevin. "Yeah, it's her. I had the best time with her last night," says AJ. "Um, hum - I bet," says Brian teasingly. "Anyway, I'm hoping to see her again because she is really nice and not to mention a great kisser," says AJ. They all laugh. They eat and talk and joke around and soon realize that it's almost time for them to go the audition. "Well guys," starts Nick, "we're going to find out today whether or not we're getting a deal. I hope so." "Me too," says Howie. Kevin, Brian and AJ all agree too. They leave and go to their cars and drive to the audition. -------------------------------------------- Arriving at the building... They walk into the building and the secretary greets them.
