Titanic is one of the most remembered ships in history. There are many things that we know and things that we don't know. This is a page of facts of Titanic that I have found.

Weighed in at 46,000 gross tons

2200 passengers where on the ship.

1513 died.

The wreck lies in two seperate places on the ocean floor about 1800 ft from each other.

In many old pictures of Titanic her name was printed on her side, but this was never real.

The crew of the Californian reported Titanics distress rockets and the captian said nothing and went back to bed.

Titanic was 1\6 of a mile long and 92 1\2 feet wide.

Shoes still lye at the wreckage site.

A lot of the ice warnings that were recieved but the radio man were never reported to the captian.

If the ship would have hit the iceburg straight on Titanic probably would not have sunk.

The gash in the side of Titanic was 300 ft long and 3\4 on an inch wide.

Titanic was nothing more than steel plates stapled together.

Many people did not believe that Titanic was really sinking, so many never got on life boats.

The steel that was used to build the Titanic was said to be unsafe, and contribute to the sinking.

Only 7 of the survivors are still living today.
