Poll:

Hello. My name is Patricia, and i have cancer (and yes that is a picture of me). I am also a normal teenager (at least that's what i think). I also think that most people are misinformed about cancer, especially children. I also believe that there is very little support out in the world for teens and children who have cancer themselves.
I was first diagnosed with Wilm's Tumor when i was eleven, and endured 6 months of chemo before being "cured". The cancer was located in my right kidney, and i had it removed. The cancer came back 2 and a half years later, in my upper left lung. That was removed on May 25th of 1998. I am now 16 years old. I must admit (and it is hard for me to admit anything), that i felt, and feel alone. I don't know what it's like for anyone else to go through this.
There were support groups for my parents, but none were offered for me. So i decided to go on the internet to see if i could find any there. My search came up blank. I did find a couple of informative sites though.
Through this site, i want to inform people a little about cancer they never knew. I don't know about you, but i feel kind of weird talking to a shrink that i don't even know. I hope that you will visit each of my pages and sign my questbook and when you leave this site, you will be a bit different then you were before this site. So please sit back, sip your double latte, and be prepared to be touched by these stories.
If you really enjoyed this site, please vote for it, so more people can know about it.
