Blast Corps Ghost Car In a level where you go around a race course, after you complete the number of laps it says to do, do the race again with another vehicle. Now, when you start, you'll be racing a ghost car. The ghost car will be the vehicle that you just used and will do everything you did in the last race (just like in Mario Kart 64). Instant Explosion When you can't get out of your vehicle, because a building is blocking your way, press the Z button and hold it down. The drivers will yell, "Doh!" then about a second and a half later, the building will blow up! This cheat is best performed with the Backlash. Turbo Start You can get a turbo start on timed events by pressing the acceleration button on the last "beep" just as the light turns green. You must time it perfectly for it to work. This is essentially for shaving seconds off your time. Bonus Levels: Extra Planets It's been confirmed! There are at least four extra planets (in addition to the moon) that players can reach: Mercury, Venus, Mars, and Neptune, and there may be more (since there are four more planets in the solar system). The pre-mission briefing clearly states that to continue on "perhaps even more missions, one must attain a perfect score." To play these levels you must get a gold medal in each of the regular stages (including all training/bonus levels, Shuttle Clear, and the Moon). Once you have done this you get a congratulations message and Mercury will open up, after you beat it Venus will open, and so on. If you've attained gold medals in all the planets, you will get a message asking to "Do it Faster," which means going back to all of the missile stages; medals will then be awarded based on time. But you're still not yet! If you received a gold in all of the timed-missile stages you will be asked to do it even faster to earn platinum medals in every stage you've played so far! There may be even more, but the platinum medals are almost inhumanly possible. Six Scientists There are six scientists in Blast Corps, and once you've found these white-jacket clad old men, you have completed the game's first major segment. The six scientists are located in: 1. Ebony Coast 2. Ironstone Mine 3. Argent Towers 4. Oyster Harbor 5. Tempest City 6. Glory Crossing But there's more. After the game ends, the carrier is directed to a safe place to explode, and after all of the credits roll by, a brand new set of challenges awaits you. Wait until the credits roll by to see this new bonus level. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Crusin USA Upgrade 2 cars instead of one! This is not realy a cheat but to upgrade 2 cars instead of 1 in two player mode this is what you have to do. Cruse the USA in 2 player mode untill you get to Washington DC. Then quit the game and let player 1 Cruse the USA in a one player game. You will have to option to continue the last race or start a new one. Chose the continue option and you will be in Washington DC. Beat that corse and do the same with player 2. Now you have upgraded 2 cars without Crusin the US twice. Change the Color of your car If you have already upgraded your car you can press down over the car on the car selection screen to change it back to its origional color. Nitrous Boost This code is activated the same way as the "Flashing Lights with Siren" code below. Get your name on the "Hot Lists", scroll to the bottom of the list, and hold left for about 35 seconds until the head comes rolling across the screen. Using any car in any race, you can now get a Nitrous Boost by press Brake, Brake, Brake, Gas, Brake, Gas. You can only use this once for every checkpoint passed. Flashing Lights with Siren The first thing you must do is select the Police Car or the School Bus. If you don't know how to, see one of the cheats below. Next you can pick any board to race on. You must get a "Hot Time" on that board. After you put your initials in on the "Hot Times" screen, you must go all the way to the bottom of the "Hot Times" list. Now hold left for about 35 seconds (you'll see the rollers moving to the left.) If you chose the police car or school bus, got a hot time and you're at the bottom of the list, then one of the designers head will come rolling across the screen. He'll say, "I love this job." Exit the "Hot Times" screen and choose another board to race on. Once you've begun the actual race, press Brake, Brake, Accelerate fairly quickly. If you did everything correctly, the lights on your police car will be flashing and your siren will be going off. Or the lights on the school bus will be going off. To stop the siren and/or lights, simply let go of the gas button. Access the Three Other Levels By doing this cheat, you'll have access to three of the levels that you race on when you "Cruise the USA," but don't normally have access to on the regular individual level select screen. This way you can race on the boards to try to beat your record times without having to cruise the whole USA first. The first thing you must do is go to the course select screen. Now hold down these button combinations: Golden Gate Park - Left C, Bottom C and L (on top of the controller) Indiana - Top C, Right C and L (on top of the controller) San Francisco - Right C, Bottom C and L (on top of the controller) The only course you obviously won't have access to now is Washington, DC. You'll have to "Cruise the USA" if you want to race on that board. Secret Car Selection As with the arcade version of Cruis'n USA, you can select from a Jeep, Police Car and School Bus. The first thing you must do is go to the car selection screen. Now hold down Top C, Left C and Bottom C all at the same time. If you hold down those buttons over the '63 Muscle Car (leftmost car), then you can choose the Jeep. If you hold down those buttons over the La Bomba (second from the left), then you can choose the School Bus. And if you hold them down over the Devastator VI (the gray car which is third from the left), then you can choose the Police Car. Holding those buttons down over the rightmost car will do nothing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dark Rift Boss Codes Dark Rift features two hidden bosses, both of whom are playable if you input a secret code. The codes are entered at the title screen. Sonork - L, R, Top C, Bottom C, Left C, Right C Demitron and Sonork - A, B, R, L, Bottom C, Top C Character Endings If you find Dark Rift too challenging, or if you want to see an ending for a character you don't like to play, the following codes will aid you. However, you should use these codes as a last resort. All codes are entered at the title screen. NOTE: Just to make sure there's no confusion, "Right" means on the Control Pad and "R" means the shoulder button. This code will give you 100 health, 200 armor, all the weapons, full ammo, the backpack, levels 29-31 finished, and takes you to the last level. Also, it gives you three pentagram items that make your laser three times as powerful as the BFG9000. You will be able to kill the last boss in four seconds. The three pentagram items also let you use the three switches in the last level (closes the gates that spawn the monsters), and the laser now shoots faster and stronger. God Mode The long-awaited "God mode" and more is now available in Doom 64! Enter the following password: ?TJL BDFW BFGV JVVB. This code will take you to level one. Now all you have to do is press START to pause the game, and there should be a "Features" option in the menu. This will enable you to warp to other levels, activate the God mode, gain full health, get all weapons & ammo, and look at full maps! Death Taunts After you lose a life, just sit there. Every minute, a "taunt" will appear for about 10 seconds at random at the top of the screen. Here are some of the taunts: •"Look at the demon feet!" •"I play Doom and I can't get up." •"You shouldn't have done that." If you wait long enough, you'll see many more! It's pretty neat, although you should remember these taunts appear as text and are not spoken. So far I've only have a chance to try this in two-player Friendly mode, but it definitely works up to four times every half! P.S. You may also want to try pressing the four different C buttons after you score. Pressing each one will activate a different scoring animation, including the infamous "Gooooooaaaaallll!!!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Gretsky 64 Easy Way to do a Power Shot To do a power shot the easy way just hold down the shoot button, then the turbo button, and release them at the same time. Remember that you must be in Arcade Mode, and be across the blue line towards the other teams goal. Pick The Computers Team Go to the team you want your opponent to be then press Right C 3 times then pick your team. Non-Stop Fighting (Almost)! At the options screen, hold down the L button, and push the following buttons: Right C, Left C, Left C, Right C, Down C, Up C, Up C, Down C, Left C, Right C, Right C, Left C, Right C, and finally Left C. Make sure you held down the L button the whole time when you pressed those buttons. If you did the code correctly, you should get into a fight every 5 to 20 seconds! Create a Full Custom Team In the NHL, it usually takes a General Manager a lot of time and a huge salary budget to build a great hockey team. Thanks to this great code, you can create a monster team in Wayne Gretzky's 3-D Hockey with only a fraction of the effort. Follow along closely, here we go! To start out, go to the OPTIONS screen. Hold the L Button and press the Bottom C Button twice, Top C Button twice, Bottom C Button twice, Right C Button twice and Bottom C Button once. The word "SPECIALS" with a string of 16 zeros will appear at the bottom of the screen. Exit the OPTIONS MENU and go to the TEAM STATS screen. Press the Top C Button 10 times. Two team names will appear. Use the Control Pad to scroll through the team names. Once you have the two teams that you want to modify, press the A Button. You will only be able to copy other players to these teams, you won't be able to copy players on these teams to another team. After pressing the A Button, the first team roster you are going to modify will appear on the left, and a roster for one of the other teams in the game will appear on the right. Press the B Button to scroll through the teams on the left until you see the team you want to "draft" a player from. Use the Control Pad to highlight a player on each team. The player on the left will be swapped with the player on the right. When you have the players you want to trade selected, press the A Button. You can replace as many players as you want and even replace all the members of the left hand team with duplicates of the same player. Once the left hand team roster is set the way you want it, press Start. Your second potential custom team roster will now appear on the left. You can now modify this team the same way you did the first one. When you're done, press Start to return to the TEAM STATS screen. Your custom teams will now be available in one-player, multi-player and even Season mode. Note that only two custom teams can exist at a time, and if you repeat this process, you will erase any teams you already created. Super Teams On the Options Screen, before you've picked your team, hold down the L button (on top of the controller.) While you're holding down the L button, press Right C, Left C, Left C, Right C, Left C, Left C, Right C, Left C & Left C. When you go to the team selection screen, you should see four "super" teams: Canada, USA, 99ers and Williams. Change Player's Physical Attributes and More! At the options screen, either during the game or at startup, press and hold any one of the C buttons and press R. This brings up 16 zeros at the bottom of the screen. Bottom C changes the first two zeros which effect player head size. Left C changes the next two zeros which effect player size. Top C changes the 5th and 6th zeros which effect player height. There are tons of possible combinations, so play around with them and see what you come up with! Hexen Cheat Codes Just like Doom 64 and Turok, Hexen contains some really cool cheat codes. The first thing you must do is start a game. You can pick any play mode (normal, co-op or deathmatch) and can have any number of players. You can also resume a saved game.
