| Spies have to capture information from the opposing "side." They must find who, what, where, when, and why. You can do it for your personal life, safety, or as a job. I have talked to a real Secret Service agent, who protects the president himself. She told me of the hard training and how she had to watch out for everything, even bugged wires and small differences of anything. ANYTHING could be a threat. Many things can happen while your spying so be careful and try not to be seen.

| (taken from spy's survival handbook)
surveillance-camouflage, cover, crawling Types of Crawling- cat crawling (hands and knees) flat crawling (lie on one side with one leg straight and the other bent. Press on your forearms and bent knee to raise up slightly and push yourself forward) seal crawling (lie on your stomach with your legs together and your toes turned out. Reach out pull your forearms and push with your toes)
street shadowing- carry and newspaper and act like your reading, act like your reading or browsing a store, and look at their reflection in the store window, wear sunglasses so they don't know your looking, act like your reading and either glue a mirror to the book or hold it up slightly so you can see the person behind you
hiding tricks- find a building or house with a view of the place you are watching, hide behind a tree or bush, wait at a bus stop like you are waiting for the bus, or build a location cover
girls- lipstick, mirrors, liner......easily usable spy tricks. Always carry a powder mirror with you. Use your liner on the "powder" which you can switch with pieces of paper. Lipstick recorder, and a mirror to see behind yourself.......TOO PERFECT!
Pen Pals- leave a message rolled up in a pen and let another agent "borrow" your pen in order to send a quick message to them.If you want to look older all you have to do is scrunch up your eyes so that it looks like you have wrinkles. Then, take dark eyeliner and draw lines in the groove of each wrinkle. To give your eyes bags lightly shake in with a dark eyebrow pencil under each eye.
