OBJECTIVE:
To contribute to the creation and advancement of a wired, techno-savvy yet human friendly world exercising my programming skills through a challenging career commensurate with my qualifications, experience and ability in Multimedia Communication "Convergence"- 'Play a credible part in an incredible history'
PERSPECTIVE (Statement of Purpose):
Being an engineer whose experience included division building and taking the projects from conception to inception gave me a flair for team work, planning, execution, training and customer support. To be able to be a person, who can make a difference, I started from the programming basics, convinced that there are no shortcuts to success.
Original knowledge and experience in the key and trend setting arenas of the electronics (Close to three years of experience in fibre optics systems - including system design, imparting training, customer support all over India, division building; telecom system testing; SW development) gives me the understanding of the expected and to be accountable. To this I can strive, contribute to add value to, through the programming expertise and productivity I worked hard to develop - the emphasis being on engineer's approach for solving engineering challenges with productivity and efficacy. This includes familiarity with object-oriented programming, C/ C++, VC++, COM, Java.
Due to the interest and back ground, I've developed familiarity and kept abreast of the modern technology trends like - datacom (telecom and NGN), mobile communications (WAP, 3G), home networking (Bluetooth), Internet appliances, in synchronisation with the programming aspects (object oriented way, GNU Coding Standards), discipline and challenges (ISO, CMM).
This appropriate and essential combination of the related work areas, styles and above all the work ethics should make me suitably equipped for being a part of the 'programming revolution for the progressive world'

Organisation : HYDERABAD Opto-Electronic Pvt. Ltd.,
Team Size : Three
Duration : 8 Months
Role : Project Leader. Designing & Coding
Software : C++
Operating system : Windows 95
Scope : Image Quality is the most important requirement in the medical instruments. This module deals with designing of lens system for medical equipment. In this module, we have the data like specifications of lens and specification of materials. By using the data of the raw material, we have to design the lens with minimum aberrations. In this process various repetitive iterations will take place. This project will calculate and provide us with curvatures of the sides of the lens system, thickness and diameter of the lens. By using this data, we can produce high quality lens system with good light gathering power and superior image quality.

Team Size : Four
Software used : C++
Duration : 6 Months
Role : Designing & Coding.
OS : Windows 95
Description : This is a telecom project. This project is for laying of the Fibre Optic Telecommunication network between two cities/places. Using this we can estimate length of the Fibre Optic cable, number of cable Splices to be required.
The programming concept includes calculating the Optical Power Budget. The Optical power budget calculation is complicated and it should take into consideration, the attenuation, splice loss, the coupling losses, the Transmitter & Receiver power for the particular transmitted Laser Diode/LED, Optical frequency and environmental considerations.

OS : Windows 95
Scope : This System maintains the information of various activities of sales and services done by a company/department. It will have the details of various clients, products purchased by them and services rendered to them. In this, we will also have customer and product details, shipment details, Invoices & DCs, along with particulars of customer complaints and services done. This project is taken up by the organisation on the initiation and keen interest evinced by me.
The user will be able to search information of all the products using the Product code Number and its serial number. Using this information, we can analyse the services provided to customers and the areas of improvement. This is very critical in ensuring that we can do the very best for the customers and enable us to be pro-active.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS EXECUTED:
· Title : High speed Fibre-Optic link for FDDI during MSc. Tech
Organisation : Electronics Corporation of India Ltd., (ECIL) Hyderabad
Team Size : Two
H/w support : MC 10216 Triple line receiver - Motorola; HFBR 2316T Receiver - Hewlett Packard; G4208 Photodiode - Hamamatzu; 1300nm LED - Schimadzue; OF cable 62.5/125m - Seicar ; Design Logic - ECL; Frequency 133MHz
Duration : 8 Months
Role : Designing & Implementation
Description : This is the project executed as a part of MSc. Tech course work, in the final semester. This project is for designing of Transmitter-Receiver circuit for FDDI Network of 133MHz frequency, at 1300nm wavelength. In FDDI network data travels through network of fibre optic cables. Here, the data travels in the form of Light pulses. Input data, which is in digital form, is transferred into light pulse and made to travel through Single mode Fibre Optic cable. And at the receiving end, detector receives the light signals. The receiver circuit takes the light pulses and transforms the pulses into digital data.
The design considerations include Optical Power Budget calculations. The Optical power budget calculation should take different factors into consideration, such as the attenuation, splice loss, the coupling losses, the Transmitter & Receiver power for the particular transmitted Laser Diode/LED, Optical frequency and environmental considerations.
· Title : Fibre optic sensor for strain measurement during MSc. Tech
Organisation : A project done as part of the curriculum at R.E.C. Warangal
Team Size : Two
Duration : 4 Months
Scope : This Fibre optic sensor is useful for measurement of strain on mechanical body. As this sensor uses Laser for measurement of the strain, we can calculate the strain very accurately. This is very useful for sensitive, radio active and difficult to reach equipment.
· Title : Hospital medical record maintenance systems

Role : Conceptualisation, coding, documentation
OS : Windows NT
Description : Implements modules for two all-important facets of banking - a. The on-line banking, facilitating banking over the net. This covers the entire scope of personal banking -account cross checking, account statement and banking records requests, money transfer facilities. b. The automated banking, through ATM. Facilitates deposits, withdrawals
· A project using VC++ for interface module for ERP based systems
Organisation : Logix SAP training centre (As an assistance for the project underway)
Software : Visual C++ v6.0
Role : Concept, Designing, Coding.
Duration : March 1999 - July 1999
Description : An ERP system is the back bone for an organisation comprising of product details, manufacturing status, availability details and all information required for creating a seamless, smooth database, with which an entire organisation's operation can be controlled, observed, improvised. The ERP system is, in a way, a complicated, complex source of information, which can make things difficult for various users - defeating the basic purpose of the system itself. OR, can be the greatest boon to the organisation as it is supposed to be; What makes this difference is the simplicity with which the system can be used - both for database creation and database utilisation. This simplicity can be achieved by an intelligent user-friendly interface, which will act like an effective outer layer over the complex, intelligent inner ERP core.
In this project, an attempt was made to create such efficient outer layer, which will be an effective link between the user and the ERP. The strong point of this layer is that it effectively shields the ERP details from the user, leaving those to the ERP programmer. There is a user-friendly interface, which takes inputs from the user and provides the answers/information sought.
