Ans: Nervous system of frog: This system is the centre in the body for receving information from the receptors and send orders to the effectors for response . Nervous system of consist of central nervous system(CNS) and peripheral nervous system(PNS)
1: CNS: it consist of brain and spinal cord .
2:PNS: It consist of nerves arising from CNS . Nerves arising from brain are called cranial nerves and these arising from spinal cord are called spinal nerves
BRAIN: Brain is the extended front end of spinal cord whitish in colour .It lies in the cranium. Brain consist of three parts:
1: Fore brain: Fore brain is related with sense of smell ,secretion of hormones.
2: Mid brain: Mid brain is concerned with sight.
3:Hind brain: Hind brain controls and coordinate ,circulation and respiration, digestion, movement etc
4:Spinal cord: Spinal cord is the posterior continuation of the brain.It is an elongated structure, lying in the neural conal of the vertebral column.
Spinal cord consist of thousand of nerve cell. It associated with involantery action or reflex action the nerves are of three types
1:Motor nervous: sensory neuron carry messages from brain or spinal cord to the muscle and gland.
Sensory neuron; sensory neuron carry message from the sense organs to the spinal cord.
Mixed neuron: mixed neurons performs the function of both sensory and motor neuron
