| FABLE OF THE WAY THE WORLD WAS CREATED... |
| "CREATION OF THE WORLD".... Evolution? Spiritual Miracle? Aliens? or Scientific? By MELVIA F. MILLER ...(educator/author/diversity consultant)   ........Introduction:THERE HAVE BEEN MANY SCHOLARLY, POLITICAL, AND RELIGIOUS DEBATES OVER THE ISSUE OF HOW LIFE ON EARTH BEGAN. Yes, there is debate and argument over this topic ! Did man originate from the apes--as Darwin advocated? Or did GOD create man from the dirt of the ground via some spiritual miracle?  ---Or did 'alien scientists' come from otherplanets and make human beings via technology? Much of this argument began because of discoveries made concerning the giant Pyramids in Egypt and other sites. Scientists have found that there is a strong connection between the structure of the ancient pyramids and the stars in the galaxies. Some conclude that man's origin was not "an accident"---nor was it "evolution"---but rather that the original human beings came from outer space. HUMAN LIFE HAS BEEN CONSTANTLY RIDDLED WITH DISPUTES, DISEASES, WARS, AND RACISM.... How did HUMAN KIND arrive to such a situation? ---DID YOU KNOW....that---*... Ancient Indians (Native Americans) believed that extraterrestrials came from the skies and taught them knowledge. *...Nubians (ancient Egyptians) thought that their kings & queens were offspring of alien 'gods' who came from other planets. *...The Holy Bible cites several instances of encounters with 'space ships'--- e.g.= "Ezekiels' wheel in the sky." *...The Aztecs and Incas believed that powerful 'gods' came from outer space and built 'landing pads' on Earth. The book: "Chariots of the Gods" was written about evidence of this. *...Some old religious scriptures speak of a "mothership" that is circling the Earth. * Scientists have discovered that the ancient Pyramids of the Nubians and Egyptians (and others)--were built in alignment with stars in Orion's Belt. The alignment is so accurate that it could not be an accident or coincidence. WITH SO MANY RELIGIONS IN EXISTENCE...WHY IS MANKIND IN CONSTANT TURMOIL ? According to scriptures, Jesus challenged his followers to "LOVE" other people--- especially those who are different from you...." The message of all the 'prophets' (Muhammad, Moses, Buddha, and so on)--- was very similar---and certainly their messages did not conflict. Along these same lines, other prophets and messengers taught the same message of the "golden rule"--- "do unto others as you would have them do unto you..." As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. stated: "We must learn to live together in peace or we will die together as fighting fools." The Great Spirit said, "Let there be light...and there was light!" And then the Great Spirit said, "Let the waters be gathered and let the dry land appear"...and it was so... There were hills & valleys, beaches, and deserts. Next, God created vegetation (trees, flowers, herbs, grass) & fish, birds, and living creatures of many varieties.  ------ -----------------From the basic elements of EARTH, AIR, FIRE & WATER... God created everything that exists on all levels. God said, "let there be beauty & truth" ----and so there was: green, blue, red, and a full spectrum of colors, which God said would work together in harmony. The work of the Great Spirit was performed to perfection and took many moons to reach the time of the creation of human beings. One day in the Garden of Eden, Eve called out to God: "Almighty, I have a big problem..." she said. "What is the problem, Eve?"...came a reply from above. " Lord, I know you created me and provided this beautiful garden and all of these w onderful animals---and that hilarious snake--- but I am just not fully happy." "Why is that, Eve?" came another reply from above. " Lord, I am lonely. I have no one to talk to me. I sleep alone....and I am sick of these apples." "Well, Eve, in that case, I have a potential solution.... I shall create a MAN for you." "What is a man?" Eve inquired. " I feel I should warn you about this new creature. A man will be much like you--- but he will be much bigger, faster, and stronger physically. He will be able to perform more physical feats than you---but he will also lie and cheat. He will be a flawed creature, with bad habits and traits. He'll be very vain--- self-centered, and self-loving. He will revell and celebrate in childish things, like fighting and kicking balls around. He won't be as smart as you, so he'll also need your constant advice to think properly....." "Well, at least I will not be alone...???" ...responded Eve. God replied..." No, you will no longer be alone. The 2 of you will be able to create more humans because of sexual unions--- and he will keep you company and may often be an annoyance." " Sounds like its better than nothing"... responded Eve with an ironically raised eyebrow. " I will make him so that he is strong and can provide material goods for you and the other humans that you will eventually make...." said God. "What's the catch????" she demanded to know. " Well....you can have a man on one condition." answered God. "What's that, Lord ?" Eve wanted to know. God replied..." As I said, he'll be proud, arrogant and self-centered....so you will have to let him believe that I made him first... Just remember... it's our little secret... you know---woman to woman." Next, the Great Spirit decreed that these two living creatures would work together and have dominion and rule over the Creation. Their job would be to be "care-takers." And then God looked over this marvelous Creation and said... "it is good!" --- ----------------God created human beings originally in the land that we now know as Africa. From the darkness, God created everything. From the original Black human--- which scientists call: "homo habilis"--- God initiated creation of many colors of human beings. Many ancient tribes and groups believed that the creators of life on Earth came from the skies from other galaxies. The Great Spirit made humans in four basic colors: Black, Red, White, & Yellow. And God said, that all of these varieties of "His/her Own Spiritual Image" would work together in harmony. ------------ All aspects of this Creation have significance on 3 levels: PHYSICAL, MENTAL, & SPIRITUAL. **For example: "AIR" also is symbolic of 'breath of life or the spirit.' "FIRE" is representative also of truth & light. "EARTH" is symbolic of the physical universe & flesh, 'Mother Nature,'... mountains, etc. And "WATER" is symbolic of morals, emotions, motion & cleansing power. **Everything on this planet exists in "opposites"---i.e.= "yin-yang" ---positive & negative, up & down, night & day, (etc.) ------------- And for a long time there was peace upon the Earth between the peoples. Later, God realized that his Creation was so vast and huge...that he knew the people would have to be spread over the face of the Earth in order to learn about and experience the Creation. So, the Great Spirit permitted White people to migrate to the North to learn all aspects about AIR. Black People were sent to the South to learn about WATER. Red people were sent to the West to study the EARTH, and the Yellow people were sent to the East to experience all they could about FIRE. God had planned & prophesized that at a later time He would bring these groups back together in a beautiful Garden to teach and share what they have learned. THAT WILL BE THE TIME when GREAT JOY, LOVE & PEACE will emerge upon the Earth. And God blessed them and said, " Go forth and be fruitful & fill the Earth. Gain knowledge, wisdom and understanding of my Creation..." However, eventually men learned about EVIL... and their "lower primitive natures." Humans discovered that God had given them "free will" (choices) to think and act as they pleased. Some men/women became greedy, vicious, violent, cruel, selfish, and began fighting against other people who were different from their group. The people divided into 'tribes' and groups and separated from each other. Some people became so low that they attempted to conquer and kill all the other people...simply based upon their colors and physical features. TROUBLE, TRIBULATIONS, WARS, AND MANY BATTLES eventually descended upon the societies of the world. Even to this year of 2,000 AD--mankind has been unable to bring peace to this planet. Out of Great Love, The Great Spirit sent many different prophets and messengers to the various groups of people to teach and give spiritual guidance. He sent Moses, Jesus, Buddha, Muhammad, Baha'ulla, --and many others. All of their spiritual messages had the same meanings. All came from the same ONE. But in many cases, the people did not heed these holy teachers--- and continued in their lowly,way-ward activities. Men continued to mis-treat women; Whites carried out many acts of hatred & slavery against darker races of people; and there were many wars between nations. The Earth has been plagued by crime, disease, hunger, slavery, riots, injustices, and worse! Even the many warnings of Mother Nature (e.g.--storms, earthquakes, floods, fires, famines & hurricanes) were often ignored. Recently, the weather has become extremely unusual & bizarre. ONE OF THE BIGGEST CONCERNS IN THE NEWS, ON TV-TALK SHOWS, AND IN NEWSPAPERS FOR THE MILLENIUM IS "RACIAL PROBLEMS"--- AND THE ISSUE OF HARMONY BETWEEN ETHNIC GROUPS. JUST TURN ON YOUR TV, RADIO, OR GO TO ANY CHURCH...AND THE CONVERSATIONS EVENTUALLY TURN TO THIS TOPIC. THE INTERNET IS FILLED WITH WEBSITES ON THE TOPIC. ONE OF THE WORST RACIST SYSTEMS TO EVER EXIST IN HISTORY (South African Apartheid) HAS BEEN OVER-THROWN. THE 20th CENTURY WAS PLAGUED BY DISPUTES, RACE RIOTS, CIVIL RIGHTS PROTESTS, AND GENERAL DIS-HARMONY AMONG THE MANY GROUPS THAT NOW INHABIT THE USA. Many researchers claim that "racism" is a serious social disease and that it begins in the mind---a sick mentality or a low consciousness. In order to cure a disease, we must begin to identify the symptoms and then work toward rectifying the root causes of those symptoms. CONTROVERSY ALSO EXISTS AS TO THE RACIAL GROUPS THAT FIRST INHABITED THE EARTH. SOME WOULD HAVE US INCORRECTLY BELIEVE THAT "White people" WERE THE ORIGINATORS OF EVERY VALUABLE INVENTION, OF ALL GOOD THINGS.... WHICH IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE. As our present modern society has become a great mix of many cultures, values, customs, races, religions & ethnic groups--- we must begin to search for ways to find harmony between the groups. Legends are found throughout the world---and their origins form a special part of the story of the development of the human race. A galaxy of gods, devils, monsters & heroes formalized the first beliefs in religion. One of the best known of all African legends-- found in many parts of that continent---tells of a God who lived on Earth in a past peaceful "Golden Age." The famous jazz musician Pharoah Sanders wrote a song about that era that says: "There was a time when peace reigned on the Earth.... when each man knew his worth! The Creator has a Master Plan... Peace & happiness for every man." Many great religions speak of a modern-day prophet who is to come in these 'last days' to set up a "Godly, divine plan....for mankind's future....a time of peace, happiness, comfort, and harmony." The Native American (Indians) people refer to God as 'the Great Spirit.' Others refer to God as: "Jehovah", "Creator" or "Allah"--- and many other names. And there are groups of folks who believe that this Planet was inhabited by people from another galaxy, many thousands of years ago. They think that the stories told in the Bible (and other scriptures) are actually stories of "aliens" who came here from space and created the people and events that formed our world. And now, many ministers, writers, prophets, psychics & "new age thinkers" ---predict that (Y2K) The Year 2000--- THE MILLENIUM will be the time of a great "shift" and transition. Some prophecies claim that this will be the time of a new beginning! WHY CAN'T WE seem to get along TOGETHER? ***That is the question of the Century!!! HOW DO YOU SEE ALL OF THIS???? WILL THERE EVER BE PEACE UPON THIS EARTH?? WE'VE GOT TO WORK IT OUT.... REGARDLESS OF YOUR RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION: Christian, Jew, Muslim, Baha'i, etc.-- the ONE common law of all the Prophets is: "Do unto others as you would have them do to you."
