My Dearest Uncle,
There have been so many times I have thought of you over the past couple years. You have made such an impact on my life. I think about how you played santa and always remembered to bring me the Sunday comics from the Chicago Tribune...I never had to ask. You have been missed the past couple years as you are missed now.
In retrospect there are so many things I wish happened differently and so much I have learned. I learned you can never make enough effort to get back in touch with the people you love. I never thought that, even though you were far, I would ever be without you. I tried to share with people in my life (who did not know you) how you not being with us today is like the North Star dropping from the sky... sometimes we take it for granted but when we need it we can take comfort knowing its out there(even if we can't find it) and we couldn't imagine the world without it. I think only those who knew you could truely understand. |

To my dear baby brother,
I will miss your gentle nature, your smile and your patience. Memories of you singing "Don't worry ..be happy" fills my heart. I know you are celebrating "coming home" with our loved ones who went before. I was truly blessed to have had you as my brother. I love you Ricky. Sleep well...until we meet.
Love always,
Gwenn |

You may have been known as Ricky in Chicago but to all who had the privilege of knowing you in sunny Arizona you'll always be "Cubbie" the Gentle Giant. Your special spot at Max's Sports Bar will always be saved by "the girls". For eternity you will always now be so close to your beloved Cubs and "da Bears". Rest in peace big guy. Oh yeah, did you finally get that darn computer hooked up yet!! |

I thought of you often in family memories and always assumed I would see you soon. It saddens me to realize that won't happen and hope that I charish the time we do have and see more of the people in this family that are still here today. Rest in peace. You will be missed. |

Ricky; you lit up every room you entered. You always offered a warm smile and opened your heart to others. You left your smile on all of our hearts and I will miss you always. But I will smile whenever I think of you, and know that you are smiling too. |

CELINE DION - Fly Lyrics
Fly, fly little wing
Fly beyond imagining
The softest cloud, the whitest dove
Upon the wind of heaven's love
Past the planets and the stars
Leave this lonely world of ours
Escape the sorrow and the pain
And fly again
Fly, fly precious one
Your endless journey has begun
Take your gentle happiness
Far too beautiful for this
Cross over to the other shore
There is peace forevermore
But hold this mem'ry bittersweet
Until we meet
Fly, fly do not fear
Don't waste a breath, don't shed a tear
Your heart is pure, your soul is free
Be on your way, don't wait for me
Above the universe you'll climb
On beyond the hands of time
The moon will rise, the sun will set
But I won't forget
Fly, fly little wing
Fly where only angels sing
Fly away, the time is right
Go now, find the light http://members.foothills.net/frank/music/sarah-1.asx
