On October 13, 1995, in New York City, Pete Sampras began his photo shoot for the legendary "Milk Mustache" ad campaign. Pete was one of the most eager celebrities to appear in an ad: he sent the ad agency a photo of himself with his own milk mustache! After thirty minutes of shooting, the milk ad you see today in magazines was shot. Below Pete's picture, the caption says:
"Who better to endorse the all-American, nutrient-rich, wholesome beverage than me? I mean do you really think a radical-looking, earring-clad, stonewashed desert boy could convince women they need at least three glasses of milk to meet the calcium requirement? I don't think so."
To obtain your own Milk Mustache ad of Pete, it appears in the new "Milk Mustache Book" by Jay Schulberg. It is published by Ballantine Books and costs $18.00. All information related to Pete's Milk Mustache Ad is courtesy of that book.
