Championships Held: This brash, disdainful newcomer to Extreme Championship Wrestling has impressed ECW management with his look, technical skills and charisma. Now if only they could do something about his attitude. A former standout on the Northeast Independent circuit, and one-time draft pick for the San Diego Padres, Simon believes that he doesn't get the respect he has earned as an All-American blue chip athlete. Proudly proclaiming he is no comedy act, Simon is nonetheless surrounded by a group of miscreants, Mitch, The Musketeer, the Prodigy and Prodigette, who despite their best efforts, always seem to get in the way of Simon's goal of being taken seriously. Make no doubts about it however, Diamond is able to back up his mouth with his well-rounded technical skills. Diamond can stand toe to toe with any opponent in the ring, whether it's at mat wrestling or aerial warfare. Experience will only heighten these outstanding skills. Following a lengthy feud with Jazz, Simon Diamond has gone on with his quest to be taken seriously in Extreme Championship Wrestling. There are some who say he is just one major victory away from that goal. With his recently formed Alliance with Swinger, they say he may be one step closer to that victory.
