Free and Fair Elections are the Heart of Liberty and SHOULD NOT BE INFRINGED UPON

10/11/2000 Voter registration ended today at 5 p.m. and we will never know how many more Greene County voters would have been registered had Greene County Clerk Richard Struckhoff not interfered with the election process and used wrong information to cause Steven Lloyd Reed, of Nixa, Mo. to be arrested for trespassing on SMSU campus Springfield, Mo. while registering people to vote. According to Dr. Keiser, President of the University, Struckhoff claimed Reed did not have his permission to register people to vote.

Duh-h-h-h-h Mister Republican Struckhoff the federal laws regarding mail in voter registration clearly permits anyone to register people to vote anywhere. Could it be you were worried a massive voter registration drive on the college campuses in Greene County could have caused the Republican strong hold to have been diminished? Is that the real reason you chose to dilute the election process for all voters and candidates and deprive some people from getting to register at all?

And for your information, Mr. Struckhoff, you are guilty of a federal crime by your use of intimidation, lies, and jail to prevent people from getting to register to vote. This is a federal election year and it also is the year hopefully Greene County can begin to recover from the Blunt-Pierpont-Struckhoff era. Oh, since you can't be voted out this year and it is doubtful you will be man enough to resign, requesting prosecution seems like the best avenue.

Since you are certainly guilty of 42 USC 1973gg-10(1)(B)you should also be charged with wilful violation of 42 USC 1973gg-10(2)because the ballots are not in compliance with Missouri law.

42 USC 1973 42 USC 1973gg-10. Criminal penalties

A person, including an election official, who in any election for
Federal office -
(1) knowingly and willfully intimidates, threatens, or coerces,
or attempts to intimidate, threaten, or coerce, any person for -
(A) registering to vote, or voting, or attempting to register
or vote;
(B) urging or aiding any person to register to vote, to vote,
or to attempt to register or vote; or
(C) exercising any right under this subchapter; or
(2) knowingly and willfully deprives, defrauds, or attempts to
deprive or defraud the residents of a State of a fair and
impartially conducted election process, by -
(A) the procurement or submission of voter registration
applications that are known by the person to be materially
false, fictitious, or fraudulent under the laws of the State in
which the election is held; or
(B) the procurement, casting, or tabulation of ballots that
are known by the person to be materially false, fictitious, or
fraudulent under the laws of the State in which the election is
held, shall be fined in accordance with title 18 (which fines shall be
paid into the general fund of the Treasury, miscellaneous receipts
(pursuant to section 3302 of title 31), notwithstanding any other
law), or imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.

You are reminded you cannot thumb your nose at the laws in order to redline Greene County for the benefit of the Republicans. Webster, Griffin, Elliston, MaGuire, etc. all thought they were above the law---the more arrogant you have gotten thinking Ashcroft,
Blunts and associates will protect you, the faster you can fall off your throne.

A free and fair election 2000 shouldn't be too much to ask for.
