Chapter 24

"I now pronounce you husbands and wives." The preacher said, "You may
kiss your brides."
"Okay, I know that JC and Rhia have done this part of the ceremony before
or they wouldn't be here. Rhia would but with Justin, but they just kissed
each other as if the other had the plague." Chris whispered to Britney and
Joey, who with every other servant in the house we required to attend the
ceremony.
"Yeah but Lance and Christina sure do look like they've done this
before." Joey remarked as the preacher waited for the kiss between the
newlyweds to end to make his announcements.
"That's because they have." Britney smiled.
"Well I'll be a..." Chris started to say but was interrupted by the
preacher
"I present to you, the Viscount and Viscountess Ryding and the Duke and
Duchess of Aquitaine."
Everyone cheered.

"Great we are stuck here." JC mumbled as everyone, minus Justin, who had
taken Jarrod to the mastrigate, sat in the parlor after the reception.
"What are you talking about?" Joey asked as he watched Lance and
Christina kiss for the hundredth time.
"We've changed history and so we probably aren't going home now."
Rhiannon explained as she looked out the window.
"You think we won't be going home eventually because you two got
married." Chris asked.
"JC and I aren't married, the first Rhiannon and the real Duke are
married." Rhiannon corrected him.
"So you think because you changed the course of their lives we are
staying here and I'm going to be your ladies maid for the rest of my life?"
Britney said horrified.
"Wait a sec if you two aren't really married then that means neither are
we!" Christina stated from Lance's lap.
"Well if we are to stay here you two basically are, because then you
would be Christina O'Wakefield Langston and James Langston for the rest of
your lives." JC pointed out.
"Well then so would you and Rhiannon." Joey pointed back.
"We were trying to make them feel better." JC replied.
"Well either way you two love each other or none of this stuff that has
happened between the two of you since we got here wouldn't have happened."
Lance exclaimed.
"Love has nothing to do with it!" Rhiannon lied. For her it had
everything to do with it. "Rhiannon that's..."
"Christina! It is. Nothing to do with love everything to do with
hormones." Rhiannon said before leaving the room and going upstairs.

Chapter 25

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Chris shouted as he, Britney and
Christina barged into her room.
"Wrong with me? I've just changed history!" Rhiannon shouted back.
"How do you know that?" Britney asked.
"Maybe she did marry the Duke of Aquitaine and not the Duke of Ashburn."
Christina stated, "maybe what you need to change hasn't come about yet!"
"That is not what I was talking about when I came in here." Chris said,
"As JC's friend and yours, not to mention in some off-handed confused way,
your grandfather like 8 times over or something, I want to know why the hell
you said that about hormones and nothing to do with love?"
"Do not tell us it's true I know it's not." Christina yelled.
"You so are in love him! You are sorta even married to him and still not
admitting it!" Britney exclaimed.
"So maybe I am! Okay, I know I am. I never would have slept with him if
I wasn't but he doesn't feel the same way so I'm not going to let myself be
that vunerable."
"You think he doesn't love you! God Rhiannon he was willing to risk his
life for you in that cottage when Jarrod was going to kill you. He love's
you more than life itself and what you said downstairs just tore his heart in
peices." Chris yelled.

"Okay I know that if we ever get back to our time, me and Christina won't
be married so we won't do anything that will be to difficult to deal with if
we got back. But you and Rhiannon should consider youselves married until or
if we get back, even if you won't be if we get back." Lance said.
"He means in the matter of supporting each and being sensitive to the
other's feelings." Joey explained.
"Like she was now with mine?" JC asked sarcastically as he kept himself
from throwing his glass against the wall.
"I know what she said hurt but if you love her it shouldn't matter."
Lance said.
"And don't say that you don't love her. It is obvious to everyone but
Rhiannon that you are. That is the only reason I don't kill you for what
you've done to her. She means a lot to me." Joey stated.
"If I didn't love her what she said wouldn't hurt so bad." JC said
quietly.

Chapter 26

"Why can't I tell her how I feel?" JC thought to himself as he made his
way down the hall. "Your scared." The voice said. "Duh! She doesn't feel
the same way." JC replied. "Yeah Right! She only made love to you and is
carrying your baby!" JC stopped outside his and Rhiannon's room. "Is it
really our baby though?" He thought. "Okay the baby really has nothing to
do with it. You love her and she should know" the voice said. "Whatever, I
just wanna go to sleep." JC said opening the door.

"Great, one of the servants forgot to move my pj's to this room." JC
muttered in the dark room.
"There aren't called pj's here and no they didn't it's supposed to be our
wedding night they don't know that nothing is going to happen between us."
Rhiannon said from the bed.
"Your awake?" JC said shocked.
"Hoping I wouldn't be?" she asked.
"Well then I wouldn't have to deal with your sharp tongue now would I?"
JC said taking off his shirt.
"You sure liked dealing with it back at the cottage." She shot back.
"Yeah well as you said, it was hormones." JC said stripping down to his
underwear. "Yeah well thanks to you, I'm going to be dealing with a
lot of hormones." Rhiannon huffed as she laid back down not want to look at
JC in so little of clothing.
"Yeah well as you said, you were the one that kissed me." He replied as
he got into his side of the bed.
"Just shut OH MY GOD! Rhiannon said as she bolted out of the bed and to
the chamber pot as she threw up her wedding cake. "I thought this only
happened in the mornings." Rhiannon mumbled as JC held her hair out of the
way.
"Are you okay?" JC asked as she used some water and scotch to clean out
her mouth. "No," she answered getting up and sitting in a nearby
chair, "I'm pregnant."
"A baby." JC said quietly looking at Rhiannon's stomach.
"That's what normally comes from a pregnancy." Rhiannon replied.
"My baby." JC said placing his hand on her stomach. "Is it really
mine." he questioned out loud to no one in particular.
Rhiannon shot up out of the chair. "What in the hell do you think I am a
whore?"

Chapter 27

A few days later

"What's with JC and Rhia?" Justin asked Joey as Joey helped him out of
his dinner clothes.
"They are so in love with each other that they hate each other" Joey
responded.
"Did JC really call her a whore?" Justin asked.
"No, he said something about the baby and she took it the wrong way."
Joey responded, "I almost socked him anyways."
"Maybe you should of." Justin stated, "they both need some sense knocked
into them."

"I didn't mean it that way." JC said for the hundredth time as Rhiannon
got into bed.
"Just shut up!" She replied.
"God Rhiannon I know that there is no one but the other guys that you
really know and you wouldn't sleep with any of them would you!" JC said
trying placate her.
"Of course I wouldn't! That is practically incestuous. The guys are
like brothers to me." She shot sitting up in bed.
"You slept with me." JC pointed out.
"Okay I don't think of you the way I think of the others and it's not
kind to remind people of past mistakes." She replied.
"So I am a mistake." JC shouted as he sat up and faced her in bed.
"Didn't I just say that?" Rhiannon asked, sitting up and looking back at
him.
"Do you hate me or something?"
"I don't hate you JC. I hate myself." Rhiannon responded.
"Why because I'm your biggest mistake?" he shouted.
"Your not my mistake your my weakness" she shouted back.
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"Half the time I want to pop you one and the other half I want to kiss
you till neither of us can breath." Rhiannon yelled in exasperation.

Chapter 28

"Geez, all they seem to do is fight isn't it?" Justin said to Jamie as
they stood outside in the hall.
"Well sometimes lovers like to use arguments as well.." Jamie said before
she began to blush.
"Okay now I get why they fight. It's like that mo...anyways." Justin
said before catching himself. "This girl doesn't even know what a movie is
let alone the move "The Cutting Edge." Justin said to himself.
"When do you leave?" Jamie asked him quietly.
"I'm not sure but since I didn't marry Rhiannon I guess I should be
leaving soon." Justin said.
"I'll miss you"
"I'll miss you to."

"Why the hell didn't you just say so?" JC asked.
"I just did" Rhiannon patronized.
"I meant before and you know it."
"Because to you sleeping with me was a mistake. If you hadn't we
wouldn't be married and we would probably be back in our own time." Rhiannon
shouted.
"Sleeping with you was as much of a mistake as that baby your carrying."
JC yelled.
"You think this baby is a mistake." Rhiannon shouted at him, furious.
"That is not how I meant it, I don't know what to say to you anymore.
I'll just shut my mouth and stay out of your way. How does that sound?" he
asked in a lame attempt to make her feel better.
"Well actions speak louder than words don't they." Rhiannon said sitting
up on her knees.
JC looked at her for a moment. "You right. They do." He said as he
grabbed her arms and pulled her to him and crushed his mouth down on hers.

Chapter 29

Rhiannon tried to resist the pleasure she felt at the pressure of JC's
lips on hers, but she couldn't. She kissed him back fiercely. JC forced
himself to pull away from her. They looked at each other neither of them
speaking.
"Out of all the weaknesses in the world and I'm stuck with you."
Rhiannon said as she pulled him into another kiss.
JC wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her as close as he could.
"I think this needs to come off" Rhiannon said as she broke free from
him and pulled her nightgown over her head.
"You are so beautiful." JC breathed.
"Yeah whatever." Rhiannon said as she pulled him down on top of her on
the bed.

"Maybe we should fight more often" JC joked as he lay rubbing Rhiannon's
naked back.
"Maybe we should." Rhiannon murmured as ran a finger up and down JC's
chest.
"At least we know you didn't get pregnant." JC said as Rhiannon burst
out laughing, then switched to quiet in a flash. "Rhia what's wrong?"
"JC what if we get back and I'm no longer pregnant?" Rhiannon whispered.

"I've been thinking about that a lot lately. If going back means I never
get to see my child, that I no longer am going to be a father then I want to
stay here."
"You do?" Rhiannon asked shocked.
"Yes we may not be friendly with each other a lot lately but I still love
the human being inside you that is half me." JC said with tears in his eyes.

A single tear rolled down Rhiannon's cheek before her eyes lite up like a
Christmas tree. "That's it! JC, if we didn't make love in that cottage I
wouldn't of gotten pregnant and that means that the baby will have to go with
us back to our time."
"But what about the first Rhiannon and the Duke?"
"They probably have a baby to but this one is ours, we made it, I'm
carrying it. When my body goes back to our time so does the baby!" Rhiannon
cried in joy.
"You really want this baby to don't you?" JC asked.
"More than salami and pickles."
"Salami and pickles?"
"Sorry craving."
"What else are you craving?" JC laughed.
"Well," Rhiannon said slyly as she started to kiss a trail along JC's
chest.
"Oh I think I like this craving." JC breathed.
"To me your like a Reese's Peanutbutter cup. I love Reese's Peanutbutter
cups."

Chapter 30

"What did you just say?" JC asked sitting up.
Rhiannon looked at him confused for a moment, then eyes widened with the
shock of what she said, "I said I loved Reese's Peanutbutter cups."
"After you said I was like one to you." JC said smiling broadly.
"So." She said trying to avoid the subject.
"So I think I get it now. We've been mean to each other because we both
think that the other doesn't love us. But in truth you love me and I love
you." JC stated happily.
"You love me?" Rhiannon asked in awe.
"I've loved you for the longest time. But at first I couldn't see it,
even with the annoying voice in my head telling that I did in one way or
another." JC exclaimed excitedly.
"You had an annoying little voice to." Rhiannon asked shocked.
"You did to?" JC asked.
"Yes telling me the same thing. That I was in love with you and to just
admit it to myself. Then when I did, it started bugging me to tell you.
More or less."
After that they just stared at each other. Then Rhiannon smiled. Then
JC smiled. Then the baby moved.
"Oh!" Rhiannon gasped placing a hand on her stomach.
"What?" JC asked. She just smiled at him and placed his hand under hers
on top of the blanket that covered her stomach. The baby moved again.
"Oh my god." JC whispered as tears came to his eyes.
The baby moved again.
"I think someone is celebrating." Rhiannon giggled.
"Hey baby" JC said lying flat on his stomach to whisper to Rhiannon's
stomach. Rhiannon giggled again.
"What's so funny?" He asked looking up at her.
"You with your naked, yet very attractive, butt in the air." She
answered.
"Attractive huh?"
"And naked." Rhiannon said lifting her eyes suggestively.
"Ah I see. Since we are adequately attired..." JC said as he pushed her
down onto the bed.
"Hmm goody a mind reader." Rhiannon murmured before JC's mouth found
her's.
"I love you." They both said as they pulled apart.
