St. Anthony, located at the northernmost part of Newfoundland, is a small charming coastal town with an excellent bay that has long been the center of a thriving fishing industry. Its historical importance as a Viking outpost is readily emphasized in the archeological remains at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of L'Anse aux Meadows some 25 miles to the north.
