Female TREVES was the daughter of R' MATISYAHU TREVES (1325-1385), who was AV BAIS DIN of the town he lived in. R' MATISYAHU was the son of YOSEF TREVES (born 1305), known as "YOSEF TREVES THE GREAT." Yosef was AV BAIS DIN in Marseilles, Paris. Yosef's father was YOCHANAN TREVES ASHKENAZI. YOCHANAN'S father was ABRAHAM TREVES. Four generations later was SHLOMO YITZCHAKI, known as the famous RASHI (1040-1105). Continuing further back are: YOCHANAN HASANDLER, GAMLIEL HAZAKAIN, SHIMON HANASI, and HILLEL HAZAKAIN. The NODA B'YEHUDA traced his roots all the way back to KING DAVID - DAVID HAMELECH who reigned asKing of ISRAEL over 2000 years ago. SPOUSE: Unknown CHILDREN: DAUGHTER - Married to Isaac (of) Katzenellenbogen. He was born approximately 1465 in Ellenbogen, Germany. They married in 1481 in Alsace, France. They had a child: MEIR KATZENELLENBOGEN - known as the MaHaRaM of Padua (1482 Ellenbogen, Germany - 1565 Padua, Italy). Married in 1540 to Chana Mintz (born appoximately 1485 Padua - died 1564). They had a child: SAMUEL JUDAH KATZENELLENBOGEN (1521 Padua - March 1597 Venice). Married to Avigail. They had a child: SHAUL WAHL KATZENELLENBOGEN (1545 Ellenbogen, Germany - 1617 Brest Litovsk) - Famous for having been King for one day in Poland. He had a child: MEIR WAHL KATZENELLENBOGEN(MaHaRaSH) - He died in 1630. Married in 1585 to Heinda Horowitz who was from Cracow. She was the niece of the REMA (R' Moshe Isserlis). Her mother was Miriam Baila Isserlis, a sister of the REMA. Miriam Baila's father was R' yisroel Isserlin of Cracow. Heinda's father was R' Pinchas Horowitz (1535 Prague - 1618). R' Pinchus was the son of R' Yisroel Horowitz (1500-1572 Prague), and Ortilla Stern (1507 Prague - 1572 Prague). R' Yisroel Horowitz was the son of R' Aaron Meshulim Zalman Horowitz (1470-1545 Prague). and Nechama Munk (1486-1536). R' Aron Horowitz was the son of R' Isaiah HaLevi Horowitz (1465 Horowice, Czech - 1517 Prague), and Rivka Yomtov Heler (died 1515 Prague). They had a child: DEBORAH KATZENELLENBOGEN - Married to Yaakov Lubliner (Yaakov of Lublin). He died in 1644. He was Av bais Din in Lublin. They had a child: ABRAHAM YEHOSHUA HESCHEL (1596 - 1663) - He was the Av Bais Din Cracow. He wrote the Approbation on Demesek Eliezer. Married to Miriam.
