Many people have different view although the question is still unknown. Some people think that its just going to be like the Internet companies, in and out. One day being success and another day bankrupt. But some people think that its quick cash. Here are some of the points of the Economy :

\...any country with a "nano" assembler and the appropriate software can make any consumer good. What happens to a mega manufacturer/exporter like Japan?
...oil becomes practically worthless. Where does OPEC get off?
...diamond is synthesized by the ton per minute for building material and gold can be mined cheaply from the sea. How will South Africa react?
...illegal contraband can be made in the home from the same machine providing lunch and a cappuccino. What happens to the zillion dollar international underground (black market) economy. How about the world's legal systems and their zillion dollar law enforcement agencies? /

Programmers are going to be in demands by the millions. High Tech companies will have the power of the world and the farmers and oil companies will be down the drain. Depending on your views the Economy will certainly benefit if a country is into High-tech.

As stated before a company that is into high-tech will certainly succeed while a industrial business will be down the drain. Where does this all lead to? Will the world be too high tech and not enough food to support the many people?

What happens to the employees that are taken over by robots? Will there be any job for the world? Or will we be run over by man-made robots. The answer to these questions will probably no if we are careful and set a world wide trading rule. Many of the jobs that human will be doing would be programming, geologist, archeologist, sociology and psychology are some of the few that are in demand. Doctors would certainly out of business since humans are health free.

Also will we ever need money again, since people can cipher materials from the air and building things themselves. Well humans had lived millions of years without the use of money. And plus also the idea of industrucable products since NT never wears out. The world of NT still needs a lot of changes and fixes so humanity can survive.

People's Reactions

As for the many comments and reactions of people around the world most of them don’t know what to think. As for the most, people haven’t yet been know of such a epic event. Some people are shocked and worry that it could be the end of the world since atomic bombs could be the size of a tennis ball or less. Here are some of the things people have commented when asked:

"This bio-immortality thing is against my religion".
"This is exciting, and/or disturbing, and/or scares the mind out of me".
"What did you say NanoTechnology was....?"/

As you see people don’t yet understand NT and don’t know what it will bring. As for the U.S NT has to be very convincing since many people don’t think its right and are against their beliefs and religion. But for the most people are excited because in the future they can pick up their cars with only one hand and disease free (health).
