Neo uses an M16 in the lobby as he does the single handed cartwheel. He also gets hold of one on the rooftop. It is a sizable weapon at 38.8 inches long but that is outweighed by its reliability and long range. It has a 5.56mm calibre. Trinity's guns are the Beretta 92F. Neo also uses the same model weapons in the Lobby, on the rooftop and in the subway. Available in 9mm or .45 cal they are known for their reliability and that they carry, as standard, 15 rounds in the clip and one more in the chamber. Extra long magazines that can hold 30 rounds are also available. It is an average sized gun with a length of 8.5 inches (217mm). The Agents' weapons was the infamous Desert Eagle. They had the largest, .50 cal model but it is also available in .44 and .175 cal. It is a large hand gun at over 10 inches long (260mm) and can have a 7, 8 or 9 round magazine depending on the type of ammunition used. The model pictured here is not quite the one used in the film as it has the shorter barrel. The MP5 was the guns that Neo used to dispatch the first lobby guards (Y'know the bloke reading the paper?) He used the smallest of the MP5 range made by Heckler and Koch, the MP5K. As it is less than 13 inches long it is easey to conceal, especially as H&K make a case for it which the weapon can be fired from. It has fully auto, two round burst and three round burst options. The standard clip holds 15 rounds but a 30 round clip is also quite common. The last guns Neo used in the Lobby were a pair of Uzi pistols. Uzis are small (9.45 inches in length) fully automatic machine guns with a high rate of fire. They are 9mm calibre and can have 25, 32, 40 or 50 round clips. Good for the 'point and spray' style of combat. At the very begining of the Movie, the Cops burst in on Trinity, all brandishing a Glock 17 each. The Glock Model 17 is a 9mm semiautomatic with a 10 round capacity. Glocks are known for their reliability and durability. They are one of only a few types of handguns that can be fired underwater and contain many less parts than other similar handguns. The shotguns used were the Luigi Franchi SPAS 12. A 12 guage shotgun that can hold 8 shots. It can be fired as semi-auto or pump action |
