I created this Webpage so you can get access to information about the class, assignments and any related information on the class itself when you are absent or not sure what's due when or what's happening next. This site/page has been created for YOU, so to get the most out of it, I would strongly suggest you use it. I have included a calendar of upcoming events, tests, ecetera. This year a few things will change and some will remain the same. The Changes: Firstly, you will be tested weekly for the first Marking Period. That means for the first 10 weeks you will get a test each week totalling ten tests. No make-up tests will be given. What is covered during class and for Homework, will be tested for comprehension each Friday. Secondly, the level of work you produce will be on a much higher standard. It will demand more of you and you must push yourself. You will take the English Regents Exam in June 2007. This exam is demanding and it is to your advantage to want to pass it the first time. The Same: We will start off the year recaping the Literary Devices and Elements through poetry and short stories. Then we will move on to plays, a novel, and so on. There will still be a lot of reading and writing both in and out of class, this is still English.

I am from Trinidad and Tobago which is located in the Caribbean. I lived in Queens New York for more than ten years before moving to Buffalo. I enjoy watching soccer, jogging and yoga. I have three nieces and one nephew. I taught high school English for three years before coming to Buffalo, where I still continue to work with teens.
