I have devised a legal means to raise capital with no undue risk to investors. Rather than obtain actual cash amounts now, I am simply asking investors to pledge a cash amount which will become payable under legal agreement only if the investor is absolutely satisfied that he or she will indeed profit from the venture. Here is how the plan works. You, as a pledge holder, will be considered to be a "virtual investor" with a potential stake in a "virtual partnership company" and as such, you will be treated as a partner and have access to continual business updates on this web site or by Email, including updates of total pledge amounts. Only when the venture is fully secured by means of legal agreements with outside companies in terms of production, distributing, advertising, meeting regulations, etc, will all pledges be called. If at that time potential cash input does not meet the target costs, then the call will be postponed until more pledges are collected. Your stake will still be secured. The minimal pledge is $250.00 (Canadian funds), which will hold an investment stake of 1/4 of 1% or .025 % of the net profit for as long as the product is selling in the market. A $1,000.00 pledge holds a full 1% stake. The maximal amount of percentage of the net profit offered is 75%. Pledges can only be made in increments of $250.00. with each entrant receiving an official acknowledgement receipt detailing their pledge amount and corresponding percentage stake. Each "virtual investor" can increase the amount of their pledge at any time up to the date a call for pledges is made. Progress reports will help you to determine how much more you would wish to pledge as time goes on. When a call for pledges is made, it is always your choice to commit and pay for your stake or not pay and give up your stake. There is absolutely no obligation.
