Lastings Milledge, the 20 year old outfielder hailing from Florida, proved that he was a force to be reckoned with his fall. In the Arizona fall league, Milledge played like a seasoned pro on the Grand Canyon Rafters. In his 24 games as a Rafter, Milledge hit in 21 of the games. He ended the fall league with a .330 batting average and collected 5 home runs, 23 runs batted in, and 24 total runs. Milledge is a ray of hope for a Mets team thriving on young talents such as Wright and Reyes. Milledge is undoubtedly a promising star for the future. But he is only one of many. Here are some other young guns to look out for. Left handed starter Evan MaLane, catcher Andy Wilson, right handed reliever Henry Owens, and short stop Chase Lambin.
