| Welcome to Marauder's Map!-your complete guide to the wizarding world. I sincerely apologise to all members and guests for the slow delay in the development and construction of this website. As you're all aware creating a website requires a load of time and research. Site Explanation Marauder's Map isn't all it's title depicts. I chose this name because frankly I liked it, it was available and of course every Harry Potter fan knows about the Marauder's Map. This website contains four main sections, these are: Hogwarts, The Order of The Phoenix, The Dark Side and The Magical Community. Once you join any section of this website you are automatically included as a Magical Community Member. Alternatively you can only join the Magical Community and get a job in the wizard world. To learn more about these different sections continue reading. But, this is not all Marauder's Map contains. If you read through the menu on the left you will notice "News"-this page is full of new information regarding any aspect of Harry Potter/JK Rowling-books, release dates, movies, actors, personal etc. Of course like any good Harry Potter fan site Marauder's Map plays host to "Diagon Alley" (for all your magical supplies), "Hogsmeade" (for further supplies, the post office, entertainment etc.), "The Library" is a frequently visited area where you can read extracts from the books, about the characters, film and book reviews and fanfiction compiled by members of the Magical Community. To discover more about Marauder's Map explore the site and please boost rating by joining any section you want (Hogwarts is highly recommended) but,freely make your own decision. Before reading Marauder's Map please read the "Terms & Conditions and Copyright". Further terms are located throughout the website and not reading them can invoke trouble upon me. Hogwarts If you don't know what Hogwarts is and have come thus far WOW! you are one hell of a human being!(No offence meant). Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is exactly that! At Hogwarts we offer an extensive range of classes from charms to defense against the dark art to divination. There are four houses that you can be sorted into; Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Each house has it's own common room, quidditch team and head of house. To enroll in Hogwarts go to "The Sorting Hat" where you can choose or let fate decide your future house. You can gain your house points by being good or loose your house points by being bad. At the end of the year the house with the most points will win the house cup. Every person who enrolls in Hogwarts is automatically awarded 100 Galleons and is given a Gringotts account. To view your account go to "Gringotts Wizard Bank". For suggestions E-Mail me with subject "Hogwarts" at jblb@eircom.net The Order of The Phoenix The Order of The Phoenix is a large group of wizards and witches established to defend innocent muggles and magic folk from Lord Voldemort and basically to fight the dark side. Order members are assigned various tasks and duties by Dumbledore-"The order's secret keeper". To join The Order go to "Enrollment". Order members are automatically considered members of "The Magical Community" and are given a Gringotts account and 100 Galleons when enrolling. The Dark Side Voldemort has a number of people on his side. These are the death eaters, people whom he has blackmailed and bullied into supporting him and some magical creatures. When you join The Dark Side you are considered a Death Eater- a servant of Lord Voldemort. You will be assigned tasks and your mission is to purify the race of wizards, spy on the Order of The Phoenix and keep them at bay and help Voldemort find a way to immortality. Dark Side members are automatically considered members of "The Magical Community" and are given a Gringotts account and 1,000 Galleons upon enrolling. To enroll go to "Join". The Magical Community This is the entire wizarding world. When you join any section of this website you are considered a "Magical Community" member. Members of the magical community can get jobs in The Ministry of Magic, The Daily Prophet, Witch Weekly and in The Magical Sports and Games industry. On joining members are given a Gringotts account and 200 Galleons.  |
