Intro... It may just be beacause people are afraid or unsure of where to start, but for whatever reason, too many people have not and are not makeing any attempts to learn American Sign Language (ASL), or the culture it is based upon. I may be only one person, but I am determined to let people know the basics of ASL...I wish I could do more but I myself am just learning ASL and have a long way to go in my studies. What is ASL? American Sign Language (ASL) is a complex visual-spatial language that is used by the Deaf community in the United States and English-speaking parts of Canada.
