DeVone, Sr., has spent many years studying the behavioral characteristics of the general population, on the campuses of Duke University, Durham, NC and North Carolina Central University(NCCU) where he developed the service. Accordingly, this service was recognized by "United States Presidential & Senatorial Task Force Members", as it was offered to the United States Military and Federal Government employees in the mid-80's.
There are, presently, 3 categories of this service. Below are these categories and the services offered:
1. $9.95, plus a $2 "Shipping & Handling Charge". The keys owners receive a key tag that has the address of "National" and/or "International Key Return Service" on it, for lost or stolen keys or, "other personal items" to be returned to that address. Also, "Postage is guaranteed", if shipped in the United States Mail, to this "Key Return Service"(c) Copyright, James M. DeVone, Sr. 2000). An "Identification Code or Number" is given to the keys owners. The keys owner is notified by this service that the keys have been found.
2. $4.95, plus a $2 "Shipping & Handling Charge". The keys owners receive a key tag that has the address of "National" and/or "International Key Return Service" on it, for only keys to be returned to that address. The keys owner(s) contacts this service, after he or she loses their keys.
