Kenton Park FC

It all started as a bit of fun and just something to do on a weekend, Starting a football team up with myself ( Jose Brown ) being the manager and my side kick Wizzy. I had the sponsors ready, A league to play in but not much of a team, so with wiz providing players from kenton and myself providing family and friends from fawdon the team was under way. Three months ago it was like a pie eating squad in the colours of red and blue, but today some how we are on run of 8 pre season friendlies winning all 8 and one league game unbeaten. With the team now looking fit and lean (not) the remaing of the season awaits us. First game of season bring on the old gogders of newcastle street wardens 90 minutes later 5 - 1 to the Kenton park Fc thanks to 2 goals by Darren Brown 1 by Dennis Burns 1 by club captain David Brown the other being an own goal. So far so good for kenton tune in next week to see how many jose's men can but past Byker. Kenton Park Fc win there first game of season in a good team performance in a 5 - 1 victory over newcastle street wardens. on the score sheet was two good goals by top goalscorer and Man Of The Match Darren Brown. other goals were by David Brown and Dennis Burns an the other down to an own goal. Street Wardens goal came from an unlucky own goal from Nathen Powell but he did not let that get to him after a great goal line clearence 5 mins from time. besides from that the defence did not have much to do in this game, next game is against byker on 28th aug. good luck lads.
