iSince winning her first art competition in kindergarten, Kendra Hensley has always known art would play anntegral role in her life.
Forever driven to create, any available sheet of paper, discarded piece of cardboard, or scrap of wood was readily spied as a blank canvas, just waiting to become her next masterpiece. After winning at the state level for her third grade entry for National Dental Health Care week, she was featured on news station Alive at 5. Her future as an artist was realized.
A Conyers resident for almost twenty years, she has painted both commercial and residential murals throughout the metro Atlanta area for the past eight years as her primary occupation. You may find her murals at several institutions in the area including The Church in the Now, World Changers Church International, and the Nancy Guinn Memorial Library. Inspired by many forms of artistic expression, she has also taught children's art lessons, worked as an illustrator, and has done commissioned portrait work.
