Photobucket FEELING LOST AND SEEKING WARMTH.....(This belonges to the link of CONTACT) ...As he continued to talk she thought that he was just a gentle tender little bird and she decided that was a great nickname for him although she was not going to tell him not just yet anyway. Another time when she felt the moment presented itself she would disclose that new nickname besides Karly thought that this name was really fits him there was such sweetness about him but she had no words to explain what she was really feeling each time they talked. Deep inside she feels like there is real love for this new found electronic friend but perhaps its still too early in the game to disclose what she was truly feeling time would tell. Karly began to feel such compassion for him he made her feeling so needed and cared for the inner peace that he gave to her in addition to the serenity of his friendship. It seemed like the hours fly by when they talked but in reality it was about one hour and that was usually the longest amount of time allowed because it’s so expensive to call internationally. Jamal promised to call again promising to keep her safe and secure and their new friendship which was growing constantly despite the short length of time. Time like age has no limits just how two very special people would follow each other and how they would stay together all the days and nights but right then they just had to be patient. Karly felt really bad inside because she had promised Jamal she would come visit him at the end of her program in May. These plans were then gone because she needed to figure out if there was going to be another surgery or not. On the other hand, there was some more good news; her roommate had a job offer from the airlines that she was working at Karly became so excited because that position was something within her job capabilities and the best part of all they were going to save the position how sweet was that! A miracle yes that was definitely a miracle she thought to herself and for the first time since the injury Karly felt like things were beginning to look up in a positive manner. On the other hand, the fact the whether in Central Florida was awful humid especially in the summer months she thought the walks would do her some good at least short distances that would be another battle and challenge to face .Karly wanted to get the second opinion first before she actually committed to that job so she decided that was time to travel again to the valley she promised never to go back to. It would be difficult but that had to be done. Karly realized that it had been many years since she saw her sister growing up in the San Joaquin Valley with its advantages of small town country living and its disadvantages being primarily hispanic migrant farm workers. The majority of them English was their second language and that was where she learned to speak Spanish on the farm where she was raised. Karly did not have any found memories growing up there her father was an alcoholic and very physically abusive to her older sisters who left home at very early ages. She thought that he drove them away because of his abusive behaviour her memories were also of her mamma screaming and breaking plates and glasses. Karly’s mamma told her he was affected by the war and should have never had children but she felt that was no excuse for the behaviour. They had no friends Karly’s father did not allow anyone to come over so she never experienced sleep over or pyjama parties they just focused upon working really hard in the fields picking tree fruit and cotton from the farm. Karly’s mamma had to hide money to buy school clothes for them because her father would get mad at her mamma and they would have a really bad fight. Karly promised never to treat anyone in that manner even her relatives treated them differently. Maybe that was why she was so attracted to Jamal because she knew how it feels being a foreigner in a strange land and being mistreated by relatives she also believed it was the ignorant people that don’t know anything just because they were half Italian did not give anyone the right to mistreat people especially children. Karly’s mamma even had to hide Christmas gifts so they could have a nice holiday it was very sad! Karly was like the only child because her sisters got married at young ages and because of that they were not close to each other she dreaded the trip but knew it was necessary. So, she made the reservation to travel by bus it would take about 5 days to reach the valley. She packed a very small bag so there would not be anything heavy to carry. As she got on the bus and settled into a seat this was it “I’m on my way” Karly thought. It seemed like eternity but the bus was slow approaching the valley Karly looked outside the bus window looking at the rows of grapes and tree fruit she could smell the dirt and the fruit from her seat something she had not smelled for a long time as the bus entered the small country town of Reedley she realized nothing much had changed there it was amazing to her how underdeveloped things were. Karly saw the packing houses that she worked at as a teenager and the beach where they used to float down the river as kids in the summertime. Wow! What a trip she felt like they just stepped back in time. Arriving at the bus station she wondered if her sister would recognize her it had been so many years but Karly remembered that Rose had really long beautiful blonde hair although her hair was extremely short Karly was just thinking about Jamal and how much she missed his tender voice and the talks that they have had especially because he was always making her laugh Jamal has a sense of humour quite a character but that was her Jamal and why she liked to talk to him. Stopping off the bus she saw her sister Rose from the corner of her eyes. Rose began to run to her and grabbed Karly with such a great hugs! At that point all she wanted to do was just sleeping she realized how really tired that she became on that long difficult trip. Rose talked non-stop all the way while they were waiting at the baggage claim area In addition to the car as they slowly approached some new apts Rose pulled into the garage. She got Karly’s bag from the back seat of the car following like a lost puppy they finally reached the apt and to her surprise it was quite a cute but comfortable apt. Karly wondered which room was going to be hers she just wanted to sleep. Rose prepared some hot tea and as she got updated about the new arrival of twins into their family Lilly Marie and Haley Rain they would be over later to visit. Finally Rose showed Karly to her room. It was several days when she finally woke up and her sister had fresh strawberry preserves, eggs bacon and homemade bread quite a treat that Karly did not have for awhile. Rose knew she hated visiting doctors since she was very young. It had to be done once and for all. The next day they got up really early to visit the doctor and driving across town Karly knew today would be the day for decisions. MRI’S seemed as if they took forever but that was the only way she would know the real truth and all she wanted was to finally get that over with once and for all. Waiting for the final results could be a torture to one’s soul especially when the decision affects a person’s life. The nurse called her into an examination room and the doctor approached inside the room with the ex-rays in his hands. He told her that there was some black spots on the lower spine he wanted to do further testing a procedure called a dermal which was a procedure that takes spinal fluid from the spine then it’s sent to the lab for further testing basically he was talking about cancer of the spine. He did not mention that surgery was an option at that point but mentioned another form of treatments which were done at the University of Stanford which is one of the world’s best hospital and treatment facilities in the world. Karly thanked the doctor and told him that she needed a few days to decide what to do. Her basic thought were to call Jamal, she really needed to talk to him he was her electronic friend and besides she trusted him but when Karly tried it was again in vain no answer. Her thoughts were again didn’t anyone answer “the phones over there don’t they hear the phones ringing? What is wrong with these people anyway”! She wondered. She was really mad because she needed to reach him it was important! When they got back to her sister’s flat she would send a email to Jamal but then something really strange came over Karly what if he rejected her! She couldn’t handle that because it happened to her in the past but Karly wanted him to know the truth. So, how was she going to tell Jamal? What could she say! He needed to know the truth but she decided to wait until a decision would be made. Karly didn’t need to discuss the situation with her sister that night she would do just that very thing. On the way back to the flat Karly looked out the car window watching some migrant farm workers picking fruit in the nearby fields she thought to herself how hard that they were working and how hard the work was for them. It was so cold and overcast today they really had to be feeling that cold whether and how very tired they had to get at the end of every work day it was a hard life for them but it was paying their bills and putting food on the tables a different way of life defiantly. Her mind wondered as she did not realize that Rose was asking her some questions regarding the medical tests and what the doctor told her. But Karly did not want to tell her and Rose knew that it was difficult for her to talk about because as kids growing up in the valley Karly was always a private child. That was just the way things were back then. Rose also knew that when Karly was ready she would tell her everything about the tests she had to wait and be patient. Arriving to the flat Karly opened her laptop and just started because for the first time in her life she did not know what to say. So, she put her laptop away and decided instead to tell Rose after about one hour of talking Rose seemed like she was in shock but slowly told Karly she thought the treatments at Stanford were the best because the nature of the surgery could leave her with permanate paralysis. Karly told Rose she needed to sleep on the decision. The next morning Karly told Rose she was willing to take the chance and do the series of treatments the doctor told her it was a bout 6-8 weeks of treatments then another MRI and take the results from that point on. It sounded really good to Rose then all that was left to do was to email Jamal that would be one of the hardest things left for her to do. It seemed Karly just got to sleep and her alarm clock went off she reached to turn it off. Today she would see if Jamal responded. Could their relationship overcome these trials through patience and silence in hopes of her finding a cure for her terminal disease? Could they obtain eternal happiness and projected dreams of being together forever in one country under one solid roof of tranquillity peace and harmony? These questions are in the back of Karly’s mind at this very moment. But she only wanted to be free of the disease and to also live without any fear that it could take her life at any given moment. Only the series of treatments would be the final decision she felt the rest was up to God. Would they experience the wonderful feelings as husband and wife to share the happiness keeping both eyes open along with every precaution not letting their deaf ears not hear what was being said? But instead listen with warm compassionate hearts hearing their words that was what she wanted Jamal to feel and understand nothing more they ever did. Karly was not asking much but to live in a very simple solid surrounding and it was very important that they also live in a country that accepts each other and has no restrictions or regulations that they couldn’t fulfil. They also had to overcome the prejudices of who they were and not what they were. First and most important of all they were human beings. One was not just a Moroccan or an American put just plain people. Karly knew she would have to fight for those rights no matter which country they decide to live in but deep inside she knew that the US was the better choice especially for the freedom that she grew up with. She didn’t know what was lying ahead because she first had to get well then make future plans to visit and meet Jamal. It sounded really easy one could think but there was much more that was lying ahead of them. In addition to the many mysteries to this country called Morocco. Karly never studied much about Morocco except that she knew it’s a part of Africa and that was ruled under the Spanish/French colonization era. She did some researches on the country because at that time her curiosity was real and she wanted to learn about this country of her electronic friend perhaps she would learn and gain some knowledge it certainly could help their friendship. Remembering that Jamal told her that his primary language was Moroccan Arabic and the second language and another primary language was French being under the French/Spanish rules. It made sense that was the other second language spoken in his country. Karly wondered inside her mind what Morocco really was like the country’s cities and towns and if they were similar to the towns and cities of the US. She also wondered what the people were like in Morocco “are they nice with good manners?!! What is the culture? Does McDonald’s restaurant exist”? She wondered. Karly also wanted to know what kinds of food the Moroccan people eat and how most of the people in Morocco dress. She also wanted to know what types of food and how the Moroccan people prepare food. On the other hand she was sure that Jamal was thinking the same exact things except he probably had a better idea because it’s much easier to access information about the US then trying to find the exact sites for Moroccan culture. At least this is what was going on in Karly’s mind. Another thing she wondered about what type of schools the Moroccan children attended and what is the primary course of studies!! Last of all she wanted to know about the healthcare situation that was one of her favourite topics because healthcare issues in America are hot topics of discussion and she wanted to know what the hospitals and doctors are like. There were many questions but Karly figured doing some researches were going to be well worth all her efforts and secondly she would learn things about people from another country it was well worth the effort after all she needed to know everything about her electronic friend and his culture and lifestyles. “This is a very important subject that needs no explanation”. She thought. Making these decisions was going to be so difficult for Karly she had such bad flash backs of her unstable childhood she thought that it overflowed into her adult life. But no matter what had happened in the past she was able to overcome those memories and move on with her life dealing with any problems that came up. So, she realized that was the time for courage and because she had such strong convictions about Angels she believed they were actually with her always nothing could convince her differently that’s just the way it was. On the other hand she realized that was the time for truth as difficult that situation was Karly had to deal with these issues and tell Jamal. She owed that to him because they made some promises and being a victim of circumstances wouldn’t stop this process it was just coming up with the right words so he would not be worried. There wasn’t much more that could be done except to be strong and courageous that was the time for her. The medical test would tell the complete story there was no doubt about the findings that was for sure. So, it was time to take responsibility and send the email to him. As she began to type the words tears ran down her face as she began to describe the accident and the details of that horrible night that ruined her career in entertainment forever! To make matters worse she had to tell the entire real truth and why she had decided to travel to California hoping that a second opinion would help her making the decisions that needed to be made. Tension in the dark in the middle of the night emotional touches within her heart like having an electric shock touch your entire body! Finally she finished with the email and decided hardly to press the send button then she did. But she still could feel the anxiety setting in and a little fear so where was the courage she felt earlier just got it over with because all he could do was to tell her goodbye. She also told him it might be several days before she could send another email because she was leaving at the end of the week for Stanford hospital Karly told him she just wanted those medical test over with. So, they could finally move on with their electronic friendship. Well it was gone past that point but what happened was that he was feeling that nothing would make him to stop loving her . Karly felt very tired and decided to close the email. It was on the way to her Jamal she would check the next day to see if he responded to the long email. Rose told her dinner was ready anyway so she finished the email just in time Karly always liked Rose’s cooking she learned at such a young age because her husband’s mother taught her the oakie way to prepare food. It is basically fried with a lot of grease with white heavy flour for gravies or oakie white gravy is the proper name it was a main dish for people that migrated from Oklahoma working migrant workers on the farms they had no money for food so they prepared these types of dishes. It goes a long way and feeds a lot of their family members along with fried potatoes and fried country chicken a traditional dish made on Sundays for the entire family. So, Karly had a treat in store with her sister cooking that night! Besides she was actually really hungry and wanted to get a good night sleep because in two days after she would travel to Stanford hospital starting the series of medical treatments that she had finally decided to do. Feeling nothing more than a sacrifice giving it everything she didn’t think twice she would risk it all no matter what the outcome because that is what needed to be done making the ultimate sacrifice it would be well worth all her efforts there was no turning back for that moment. The decision was final that was it. Karly felt her life was worth so much because she had so much more to offer and she wasn’t done with her dreams and goals it was not checking out time she thought to herself there was so much more that she intent to do before she decided to turn out the lights on her life for that moment..
THE FLIGHT'S ARRANGEMENT Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Karly made her flight arrangements then and the summer pasted, she smelled the first signs of early fall and realized how much planning she had to do. She wanted to buy gifts for all of Jamal’s family members from America she knew he has four brothers and only one sister the youngest of them all. she felt it was really important to make a good impression to Jamal’s family so deciding to go visit her Moroccan friends that own a dollar store there she could get first hand information on what kind of gifts would be appropriate for his family. Jamal’s father passed away seven years ago from cancer the same type of cancer her father died from Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Anyway karly desperately wanted to meet his mother because he told her what a great chef she is and that people come from all over morocco to have her cook for them after talking with her Moroccan friends karly got quite an assortment of gifts and was happy with her choices of course with help thank goodness she got some really nice scarves for Jamal’s mother and sister several t-shirts and caps for his brothers and clothes and stuffed animals for his young nephew. Wow now she had to pack her suitcase having two weeks left until she would leave to finally meet her soulmate and electronic love jamal. it seemed like eternal bless and the excitement of preparing for her trip she kept packing and double checking to make sure nothing was forgotten karly got several special shirts for jamal along with a briefcase which is real leather he would like that she thought realizing that love is the greatest gift God can give two people from totally different cultures bringing them together to live as one body, one mind and one spirit. Then what could happen to them when their countries would not allow them the happiness of freedom of choice to choose a marriage because many people think finding love is the greatest emotion on this planet however would their love survive and be totally fulfilled where would they turn for the right answers if they were denied this love? Karly wondered about this constantly because she believed they had found true eternal lasting love and what if they had to sacrifice and be torn apart. Could they both be strong enough to handle that and all? because their countries have laws which could prevent their lives from celebrating what each other truly was feeling for each other together forever under a solid roof in one country both realizing the barriers and must overcome those barriers of injustices in each country who do they trust for these answers and what would be the final solution to these issues? Many questions karly thought about as she was preparing for her flight to jamal. she truly believed in divine intervention and the power of prayers she thinks God would step in and help them accomplish their goals and the best part is she kept a positive perspective of prosperity of this electronic love they had found karly never realized that her research would give her so much information and knowledge allowing her to bring up these issues because she knew in reality those were true decisions that would need to be discussed as the best possible solution to these issues would soon be answered. Karly only knew one thing that was certain the love they were having could never be taken from them and their love would certainly be tested to the limits of their patience they both would have to learn how to endure some hardships in order for their relationship to survive their new found electronic love. Cultures and lifestyles can be heard through the voices of the people throughout the entire world. Karly opened her email and there is a poem that Jamal to her as she begins to read each sentence she begins to cry: The many tears overflow in the eyes. So one cannot see us over by boring. The scene fact is too long . It doesn’t have lights. Nor array of hope. The ways are closed, And the truth is shy. We want to burry the child of the past; Inside the mixture of the murky muddy water . To set a mass a good example to all people that the child of the past. We laid to rest no longer suffers and no longer a victim of the present situation . He is amazed between the truth and the imagination; Between the illusions and ambitions. Fighting for what is wrong in his country . Is so sweet life? With black thoughts of an employment. Because he is tasting our bitterness, More than sweetness allows. It is like zizife in a mountain , Making the rock on the top of the mountain . But in vain like the moon; The half of the moon is gone, And refused to shine. When will he realize the goal? And the life he smiles. When will he remain stuck without solutions? Will he throw himself suspended to the sea? And the negotiations will be done! Or protecting him in a cave . Neither death nor painful injury, Will be recovered or life. Sweet life that he will be secured . Either the waves of the sea Turn over of this hero, Or his flags of unemployment Fly higher and higher. Karly thought that if the walls had eyes and ears they could see all the love that Jamal expressed in his poem that she just read. He has such great feelings honest tender emotions. There were not many people out there in this world that had that special gift and Karly felt that Jamal had been so very blessed with that special gift of expressing emotions through the poetry he wrote. Moreover expressing what was going on inside his soul a strong courageous man that was not afraid to write about the wrong things in a country primarily Muslim and that does not allow its people the liberty of freedom to speak about what is really going on in a country which is suppose to promote peace tranquillity and harmony among its people. Instead the government hides and keeps the Moroccan people in fear of punishment for their actions if they do in fact try to speak out. Moroccan people desperately want everyone in the world to hear not with deaf ears but open eyes, open ears and most important of all their hearts and help them with tender compassionate hands so everyone can really live in this country in true peace because they really need to be free in saying what the truth is because hiding the truth means killing the dignity and the personality of the human race inside. And of course that leads them to be unfaithful to their positions, their responsibilities and to the holy duties of their country. Therefore listening with open eyes heart and ears is a very important aspect for the Moroccan people presently in this country which Jamal grew up in. Karly could see through his writing of this poem exactly how much hurt he has been going through despite the pain, he continues to stay strong just like the little bird in its nest growing stronger each day and gaining enough courage to fly away to be free in a country and be the first one perhaps to stand up and speak for freedom that his country needs to hear. Jamal is the chosen one just as a prophet going from country to country speaking about truth honesty and the right things the country needs great changes. It’s taking those small steps to change in hopes that one day each government can sit down and discuss the issues in each community listening with open ears and eyes with every desire open to changes that the people want especially the people of Morocco. A under developed third world country according to what Jamal is experiencing with the literacy illogical thinking of its government and city council members including police departments which in contrast all of them have the education levels of a child in the primary beginning grade in elementary schools. In fact these people including the vice kings and King that run its government in such a manner that one would think Stalin is in control. Because Moroccan people do not have the freedom to choose it’s the government making the decisions and at a very slow pace making the people very tired and inpatient because these changes are so slow in coming. Jamal only sees the bleakness of his country but he desperately wants to make a difference for humanity taking small steps one day at a time allowing changes in the literacy rate the sufferance of the Moroccan people being deprived the sweetness of life. This is one of the reasons there is such a great illiteracy rate in the Moroccan population Furthermore government does nothing to change this situation. Therefore this leaves the people unaware of what is really going on because most of the population cannot read or write so they only understand what the government wants them to understand. Moreover the workers in the communities are unskilled lacking the levels of education required for the job positions they reside in. Moreover Moroccan’s poor people don’t have the right to ask the government for financial help because financial funding is so little. In addition, some of them they have in their mind that buying a car in Morocco is like a wonderful dream they always fight life by themselves to make apart some of their surviving income for being able to be ready to face some of the things that some of the countries have. These things are very important priorities in equilibrating and sharing its sorrow with people besides that to make them feel like human beings. OH MY GOD A HUMAN BEING IN MOROCCO! It’s one of the ideal dreams that the Moroccan people wish to feel and to touch in their daily life because there is not anything which is called humanity. These prior things I was talking about hospitals and behaviours and social sides that represent the real image, the horizon and the destiny of the country. Life is not eating and going to bed and working like a machine but it is feeling that other people among you are making them to feel that they exist in this planet not just by their shocked bodies, paralyzed minds and blind eyes and deaf ears.
MOROCCAN WOMEN Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
They are really tired and bored by the fake promises and intelligent liars that they present their rights in the elections year by year and generations by generations. Furthermore, no one feels guilty about being alive or what 95% of the Moroccans suffer from! Its reality and those who don’t believe it s/he needs to come to Morocco and live with the simple and poor people and s/he’ll discover the truth how much poverty really exists. The disaster is, not to go to Agadir and Marrakech to see the touristic scenery and the beautiful sides of this country but to say that Morocco is a paradise but in reality a shameful fact many cities hidden away in poverty. An eye soar to the tourists these sites remain unseen because of the poverty, trash on the unclean streets and residential areas and many homeless hungry people including children and the elderly all victims of this country and the primary responsible party? Is the Moroccan government which allows this type of living for the majority of people living in Morocco a paradise with all the rich culture and the flavour of civilization which culminates nothing more than the reflection of its people. In addition to the children with no place to play except in the allies filled with dirt and unsanitary conditions or to see kids playing soccer in a vacant place filled with trash that someone threw away. A paradise for children its no wonder the many diseases children suffer from playing in very unsafe and unclean areas would make you ill in your stomach just to see these sites. But very visible to any human eyes you just need to come and see. Furthermore smaller cities also have dirty fitly on the main streets everywhere you look there is trash and buildings torn down as if you just went through a war torn area. You can look in the faces of many Moroccan people and see the hurt and disappointment because the unemployment rates are very high there. The job market is so very limited. On the other hand, travel to the countryside there you will find a farmer ploughing his fields with a team of mules or donkeys something seen from the early settler’s time. He has no new john deer tractor or old tractor just his team of animals to do this work, farm workers picking potatoes in the fields such back breaking work as the salaries maybe one or two dollars for the entire day which consists of 12 hours or more. There is a truck filled with workers jammed into these trucks with little or no room to sit most of them stand side by side like prisoners in a labour camp but back in the day. This is called modern day farming in Morocco. I just cannot imagine watching people everywhere you look in the open market places people just sitting anywhere in the streets on the sides of the roads or walking on the highways. Groups of children walking in the dark in very unsafe areas there is no street lights or modern facilities in fact the schools have no electricity. In addition, there in no central heating systems the rooms are so cold and the school buildings unsafe there is no play area or equipment for the children of Morocco to play on furthermore the school playground it filled with garbage dirt and there is such a foul smell. Most of the girls quit going to school at very young ages because there is wolves on the streets this is men that try preying upon young girls making them feel unsafe. So many families decide to keep the girls at home where they can learn how to cook, sew and become a faithful obedient Muslim wives and mothers. This is how the true reality exists in modern day Morocco. Chapter 1: (***Women in Morocco***) Therefore most of the young girls of Morocco choose this way of life because there isn’t any other choice for them. This is their only way to learn how to support themselves and one of the main reasons that Moroccan girls get married so young this is all that life has to offer most young girls. Moreover, Jamal’s poem really touched Karly because she can feel every emotion of words that he wrote in this poem of his so very touching to her. Karly decided to begin her research regarding Morocco a country where man and nature work as one. As she begins the research she finds to her surprise a site that has so much information. Karly begins to read the information on this Moroccan website which is quite informative. But sadly she realizes that the truth is told Morocco’s government does not provide any educational methods or the proper educational tools necessary to provide a proper education for the children and its people. Morocco suffers greatly because the students must pay for all the materials in education such as books, writing materials and notebooks all these things in order to get any kind of education. It’s so expensive this is another reason young girls are told to remain at home because getting an education is more important for the boys than girls. Morocco is not a country where equality for women and girls is equal to men and boys. There are some exceptions to the rule especially in higher or secondary education. Thereby financial funding comes from UNESCO or United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization. This organization is primarily responsibility is to give financial funds to students seeking a higher degree in education thereby allowing them this opportunity to finish their education. Some parents provide this service for their children’s education. On the other hand, it is very difficult for Moroccan children to finish their education because of the financial stability of the Moroccan government. The cost in Morocco is about $150 each semester which is approximately three months long so Moroccan students must find additional resources to fund the remainder of their education. Funding education in Morocco is not on the top list of priorities because Moroccan students suffer from this government politics and the majority of these students choose to study abroad if they want to finish their education. In addition to Morocco’s government has many levels but none of these agencies or city government has any interest in seeking out alternative ways to help Morocco’s children get the quality education that each one deserves. In many ways everyone suffers including the children because Morocco has a high literacy rate which is approximately 90% of the population. Mostly women who are not recognized and there is predominantly a male population. Therefore women suffer and are not allowed the same educational opportunities. Unlike America’s educational system there just isn’t any comparison they just don’t have any rights what so ever. Women are the very last ones to receive a quality education. At this point Moroccan women become married by the age of thirteen and they become dedicated obedient Muslim women therefore they are no allowed to learn how to read or write. Their main responsibilities are to the family and keep their husbands happy in all situations. They are not allowed to refuse husbands in bed including the facts she must always be submissive to please her husband. This is Islam law. Moreover Moroccan women are not allowed to leave their home without their husband’s permission. Including the Moroccan law that women are not allowed on the streets after 8 p.m. This is another reason why Moroccan women are unable to educate themselves and the main reason fro early marriage is to secure them selves financially and provide stability for themselves a standard way of living for them. On the other hand, many young Moroccans chose not to marry because they do not want the financial responsibility or obligations required by Moroccan law. This law requires the man to be the primary financial responsible person in the marriage he must provide adequate security and living arrangements for the couple. Therefore most Moroccan families choose to live in the same flats as their relatives you will find many large families in these flats and they help each other out in every situation because Morocco is such a under developed country that this is the only way most of the people survive there its their way of life and the entire family supports each other. Furthermore because the salaries are so very low it requires each person in the family to do their share of responsibilities in the homes; men provide most of the income as low as it is and bring home fresh vegetables and meat so the family can eat. The Moroccan women work very hard in the homes they spend most of their time cooking and making home made bread from oven built in the early 19th century. They do not have conventional ovens as all American women do. Moroccan women also spend their time cleaning and washing clothes which is done by a tub and wash board another sign of the early 19th century. The do not have modern brooms or mops but a rag made from material of an old dress and the broom is a stick with a wiper similar to a car window wiper blade .But this is their main responsibility. In addition the cleaning supplies are also limited for example they don’t have sanitary cleaning products mostly imported soap products such as tide and the women these products to clean the floors and toilets. Moreover the toilets well now that is another story. Karly reads the part which shows a picture of the traditional Moroccan toilet. Wow it’s a slap of cements in the floor of this tiny space just enough for a person to squat and pee. And there isn’t any shower or sink to wash your hands imagine that! Reading on she discovers that the sink is located outside the toilet area and the shower is located in one of the bedrooms. There is not any hot water well unless you use a butane heating system which gives some form of heating the water and in the toilet is a faucet next to the toilet which is in the ground it has cold water. But Karly noticed a bucket in the photo and she wondered why the bucket was there.
MARRIAGE PROPOSAL Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
It’s hard to figure out these things we take for granted. But Karly thought that this was just a picture of the older days in Morocco and she thought surely things are updated in the country right.karly felt so deeply for the Moroccan women as she discovered how Moroccan women must live the desperately wants the world to truly hear their cries and for them to take responsibility for their actions running away from themselves to escape the pain Moroccan women do not have the freedom of choices positive choices they only have no rights because the country and the government controls and rules and no one hears their voices but karly wanted everyone to hear through her messages and her own words helping these women to take back their own lives and to begin making the right choices for these changes. first of all karly believed for these changes to take place in morocco there certainly must be changed in the government’s behaviours these behaviours she thought it should be about the government’s way of thinking about the lifestyles of Moroccan women in addition to the government hearing them with open ears not deaf ears and silent voices but instead loud voices otherwise it leaves these women with no other options but because this is the culture of morocco and especially for the women this is not a display of olden days civilization but instead its present day as karly did research finding that Moroccan women’s lifestyles isn’t a picture of goodness but instead a bleak sad picture of a controlling violent type of behaviours that the men in the Moroccan government display furthermore it’s also prevalent in their daily lives as the Moroccan men control all the relationships especially their wives which are not given the opportunity to speak about these choices and unlawful behaviours the truth is in reality hidden in their hearts and in the depths of their souls Moroccan women truly are screaming out for changes and to get out of a trapped world where no one cares what’s happening to them in addition Moroccan women must wear traditional Moroccan clothing they do not have any other choice it’s just the ways things are there because it’s also Muslim law. And they must respect this so where do these changes begin to take places in a country controlled by male cavity men? who definitely controls everything in the country in fact karly discovered that Moroccan women are not even allowed on the streets after 8pm at night alone without their husbands it’s against the Moroccan law this is another form of controlling government and a type of communist ruling a Stalin method of ruling the women with fear factors they cannot even leave their flats in the daytime hours with special permission from their husband however the husbands don’t suppose to ask their wives for permissions to leave the house. It just amazed karly the research she discovered how difficult their lives are because Moroccan culture is so very different and difficult because it’s a conventional and simple way of life karly cannot even imagine and truly understand these types of behaviours coming from a western civilization style of freedom America karly decided to email Jamal and ask him exactly what his expectations are going to be and what he was expecting of her she wanted to discuss these issues before their marriage would take place in addition to coming to a mutual understanding and agreements between the both of them ones in which they both could live with in this way there is no misunderstandings after they were married she also believed Moroccan women need to show their strengths to survive in this country peacefully thereby imposing themselves in society by fighting for their rights as women and show their true strengths in their abilities through their achievements and abilities along with providing enough stability through making positive changes for themselves by not tolerating the Moroccan men and the government a dictatorship style and making them live in fear of living under these conditions Moroccan women should never make sacrifices by staying alone and suffering loneliness and sickness of the ignorance by their government because ignorance breeds only more abusive lifestyles and unbearable living conditions for these women this way should and would never be tolerated by American women that is the facts and true at that moreover this stems from a government which suffers a sickness from an under developed country with ignorant illiterate leaders on the other hand the Moroccan government should be led by leaders that treat the Moroccan people as human beings and all people should be treated with equality including sharing everything so they can have a fair life and a better way of life for their future these social changes should become a part and a necessary part of Moroccan government on a daily basis including becoming a part of Morocco’s culture in a country where men and nature can work together as one unit a country where men can have their rights but hand in hand and side by side with their wives or women in society as their equals and not as foreigner workers this way Moroccan women will learn how to escape this pain that they hide in addition to choose to take back their lives speaking out without fears of punishment or even worse not being heard and things remain the same things desperately need to change Moroccan women generally speaking are very tired of fighting a system in their government which is so conventional and chooses to provide a weak bureaucracy not leaving them the choices of a western style of freedom or civilization and no choices but to move away. Karly wants to help these women and she thought about the poem jamal recently wrote he agreed with her about his mother country and how these changes need to be the poem called peace When our minds be released Into the life we will be independent When can we shake hands with peace? And to the parties we can smile Will this generation remain to be sick? Will we forget the future of our second generation? Or many other generations to come The doctor is sick complaining to paralyze But the deep painful injury rescued in a hurry The soul beats like the heart beats As if death is coming Is there who can we rescue? What shall be done? The injured people are all sick No hope in sight only death there is no gender equality in families or any outside community involvement women are kept at home un educated and illiterate lacking the skills they desperately need to survive outside the home but jamal always reminded karly that no one ever makes it alone in morocco surviving is something you don’t plan its something you must live with everyday in addition to Moroccan women must live in a controlling and sometimes combative situation they can never deny their husbands but instead be obstinate to their desires and their husbands do not give any positive reinforcement it is part of their duty as a Moroccan wife despite the fact that men cannot go into a beauty salon where women are present they still control the majority of the outside community this research made karly even more determined to challenge these women and give them a wake up call to real world realities she also realized that jamal will never impose the harsh unfair gender unqualified for her she did on the other hand only feel the warmth of his tender heart and his eternal love for her this was real world reality of their electronic love. Moreover she didn’t want to lead in the area of ideas to let these women know there is a better way of life one which is right outside in their very own communities they must take the first initial steps to make these changes no one else can do this for them there is divine intervention and prosperity for these desperately needed souls the first step to recover for them was to have faith in their abilities to be strong and courageous to strand up for their rights and to challenge their government demand changes and also to believe in god everything else will follow karly truly was a believer of these facts and she realized that jamal knew that of her from all their conversations and emails furthermore jamal knew that karly was a genuine dedicated and honest person this was one of the reasons he felt so deeply in love with her jamal felt her despair and hurt she had for these women along with her compassionate heart despite the fact karly had not visited morocco yet but the day would soon approach that jamal was eagerly waiting for her arrival to morocco then he could show her how the true reality of what morocco is all about the culture and then he hoped karly could get a better understanding of what was going on first hand so jamal decided to call karly because he wanted to propose marriage and she would be so surprised so karly worried about these cultures she worried it would cause their relationship to suffer but she also realized how their love had blossomed each day and they could overcome these obstacles answering the phone karly loved to hear jamal voice she was beginning to miss him and he popped the big question all he heard was a very loud scream from the other end of the phone and of course karly had dropped the phone but karly fought back the tears of happiness running down her cheeks she said yes to Jamal’s marriage proposal but had to ask him again just to hear him laughing on the other end, laughing with delight she felt his tender warmth of love she felt so very complete and had beautiful emotions what a wonderful day that had been. Wow! What a way to end the conversation as panic overcame her. She had many preparations to make another new beginning for them and their electronic love and had some new serious issues they needed to answer karly wanted to talk with jamal but was side winded by his proposal so she sent an email and the following day jamal replied to her “my love my honey”.
