My friend was running for student council secretary and I was her campaign manager, so I had to give a speech for her at an assembly. As I was standing at the podium, a huge spider ran across my hand and stopped on the notes for my speech. I was so surprised that I screamed! The whole room went silent. I had to explain that I got scared because of a spider. Luckily, my friend still won the election!"

"My grandpa decided to take me to a store near a Navy base. As soon as we got in the store he grabbed my hand and rushed over to some guy I thought he knew. Before I registered the shocked looked on the guy's face, my grandpa said, 'Hi Ed. This is my granddaughter. Is she pretty or what?' The guy kind of smiled and said, 'Yeah, she's beautiful, but my name is Joe.' My grandpa thought is was a guy he used to work with in the Navy!"

"I was baby-sitting two little girls. When their father, Mr. Bailey, left, I fed them and put them to bed because my friend Chris was coming over at 9. Ten o'clock came and Chris still hadn't showed up. Then the phone rang and the guy said he was Chris. I was so mad that I started giving him a lecture, saying, 'Where the heck are you? I had to put the two brats to bed early because you were supposed to be here at 9:00!' It turns out that it was Chris Bailey on the phone, not my friend Chris! I don't baby-sit for them anymore!"

"I had been going out with my boyfriend for almost five months. One night he asked me to meet him in the park. Since I hadn't told my mom I was going out with him, I told her I was going over to my friend's house for about 15 minutes. I left and went to the park. I ended up being at the park for about an hour. We had just started a major make out session when my mom pulled up and honked the horn angrily. I was so embarrassed, and the worst part was that she ended up grounding me for three months, right in front of him!"

"I was talking to this really cute guy at the mall. He was looking at my nails and telling me how pretty they looked. Even though they were fake, I said they were real. He was still looking at them and touching them, when one of them popped off! He was stunned and kept staring at the pink plastic nail that had landed on the table. I was so embarrassed!"

My friend and I were at a drug store looking at shampoo. She took the lid off one and told me to smell it. When I bent over to smell the shampoo, she squeezed the bottle and purple shampoo went all over my face and hair! Someone must have told the manager because he came over to us and told us to leave the store. We couldn't stop laughing, so he told us to leave immediately. As he was escorting us out, me with shampoo everywhere, we ran into a guy I have a major crush on. He was watching the whole scene as the manager told us we couldn't return to the store because we were too immature to shop there"
