Please send questions to Cljc.Ministries@Gmail.Com Q: If I am a good person that is caring and loving will I go to heaven? A: According to the Bible the answer would be No! The reason for this is found in John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Now with this being said I will say alot of caring and loving people will go to heaven, but they realize something vastly different than someone who is only caring and loving and that is that Jesus is our true savoir and his death, buriel and resurrection signify the high exacting price he paid for our sins,and if you want to come to the father which is in heaven you need to realize his Son,Jesus, paid the price for your sins,for without this he says you will not approach him! So believing in Jesus and his sacrifice is a most precious thing that saves for it is by his name we are saved and no other!!! Anonymous! Q: If God knew that Satan would mislead us,why did he put him in the garden of Eden? A: The fact is we need to go back to the beginning to see why God ever created Satan in the first place. We see Satan became the anointed cherub of God's holy mountain for his praise! In Eze 28:15 we see Satan's character was perfect until iniquity was found in him. He then trafficed his iniquity to God's heaven and then man's earth!(Remember though God know's of Satan's fall,but with that should he not start his plan and let it's course run!) God decides and man's story begins! Satan's interfearence has given a vast look at God's patience, mercy,and love and his wrath, so you might say that evil historically, has allowed us through adversity to to grow, without it we may always question the fact of God's perfection, and why it wouldn't be good to take another path other than what God has for us, God can now say you have tried it your way it failed! Well because we have lived it our own way we know it's painful,not to mention the fact that God could just say why even have the human race if it's desperately wicked and I'll have to go to the cross to save them?? So this question is deep, but it lies in our court ,and God's, because he has suffered also,watching us go through misery and trials! Satan was created because in God's plan we learn from Satan's errors and ours ,and without this error growth we would be seriously compromised in our beliefs it seems trials not only build character, but they go hand in hand with our freedoms, how we choose the things we like ,and dislike and without these choices we wouldn't be who we are!Anonymous! Q: What Nation or Nations will the AntiChrist of Revelations control,where will he come from? A: For this information we turn to the Old Testament book of Daniel Chapter 8 Daniel 8:19 And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be. Daniel 8:20 The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia. Daniel 8:21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king. Daniel 8:22 Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power. Daniel 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. Daniel 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. What we see here in Daniel is the King of fierce countenance he is Anti-Christ and with that he stands up in the midst of Grecia,Media and Persia the equivolent of Iran,Turkey and Europe most scholars agree he will be a leader of the European Union because he will rule many some will come by persuasion others he takes by force! Phoenix! Q: What about Ghosts? A: Well I get this question an awful lot lately and since even though science has no real definitive answer on ghosts I am gonna let you know my observations. First, ghosts are usually considered to be dead people who are wandering in a spirit form! Biblically every perspective of communicating with the dead,is unholy, for the bible tells us the dead have no part in anything under the Sun! Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Ecclesiastes9:6, Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun." SO, no dead people are communicating with us at anytime, according to God! and if God says no, does he mean no? I would say this is clear,so just who is it that goes bump in the night and opens and shuts doors and scares people! Our choices are limited to spirits with less than good objectives. I would venture to say 9 out of 10 incidents are fear based! Let's have a look at what God says in this passage! Luke 10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven." Ok what spirits are subject unto us?? I'll give you a hint spirits come in two variations according to most, most often described as Good and Evil! Yet we know they are not good from what God has given us in scripture, I would say if they are evil, and Satan controls them. Demonic spirits cannot be good and the fact they are masqueradeing as ghosts is a perfect cover for who or what they really are! You have a pretty strong evidence that God is saying to his saints not to fear these spirits, for he has given us power over them, yet he says that they are not dead people, they are the fallen angels or spirits of them! So basically ghosts are evil!! So you ask what is the good spirit? My answer is "the Holy Spirit"of God and he dwells within us not in our closets! Anonymous,Phoenix Q: Can I be saved or forgiven by God even after all the wicked or evil things I have done? A: The answer is emphatically Yes!! Jesus is willing and just to forgive us our sins! When Adam was in the Garden of Eden and he ate the forbidden fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil! He in effect was in direct rebellion to God's commands. The problem we find is that his original sin went down through the chain of humankind plus every sin we ever commited cannot be favorably looked upon by God! So God set up his " Old Covenant" with Abraham(Abram) in which all sin would be covered by animal sacrifice! So for instance if you lied and cheated you needed to offer a sacrifice before God usually before an alter with the help of a Levite priest! You would bring a lamb an ox or a dove(examples) usually spotless or without blemish! Then God began the "New Covenant" with his Son Jesus, John 3:16 for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever should believe in him should not perish but have everlasting life!"Now Jesus became the perfect sacrifice so perfect that any sin could be covered by him and there was only one requirement God asked for this sacrifice of his Son is that you believe in him and when he went to the cross and shed his blood that offering was the final one! Now God can look upon us that believe and we are covered by Jesus his death, buriel ,and resurrection! So now God looks on those of us called believers with favor and mercy and he does this not because of what we do in life, but because of what his Son did for us. We are loved and special! regardless of any chaos or sin before we became saved or we believed! Phoenix Q: If I have a spiritual gift like the one Paul mentions in 1st Corinthians how will I recognize it? A: Let us first take a look at spiritual gifts 1Corinthians 12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 1Corinthians 12:9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 1Corinthians 12:10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 1Corinthians 12:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. Prophesy and Speaking in tongues! 1Corinthians 14:22 "Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe." One thing I will say is that the Holy Spirit is the giver of Spiritual gifts but the practice of these gifts is up to the one who inherits them, not only that if your not right with God and you grieve the Holy Spirit these gifts are rendered obselete they are there but useless because your walk with God is in need of repair! Now if you can speak in tongues, I would say to learn to start may require being around others who can help you develop it. So a charasmatic Church maybe like the "Assemblies of God" would be a good place to go to learn more on speaking in tongues because you'll be around those who speak in tongues. Prayer is also important here asking God to help you pray in tongues if you may,but it is natural and seems to come that way through prayer from what I have witnessed,Next Prophesy, When you think of Prophesy you automatically may think of "Prophet" or "Messenger of God" all prophesying and direction of it should be for edification of the church or body of Christ and done in an orderly fashion,now as a prophet you may wonder wether or not this is your gift ,but I would say this to you if God is speaking to you ,you'll know it! God isn't gonna send out a messenger unequipped to fulfill his purpose, however with that being said ,it may take some time to understand what God is asking from you, I believe he tests us and teaches us ,as we are able to understand, and follow on to learn! If your not following God's commands this gift is out of the question ,prayer and commitment to God's word and his people are very hand in hand with Prophesy (the ability to say God has directed me to say this and that ,according to and in relationship to his word for edification of believers)Faith ,Healing, Discerning of Spirits ,working of miracles all in God's word may follow as a gift of the spirit to any believer God wills to give it! Faith and discerning of Spirits may be a little harder to visually recognize but still to the one that posesses them something will be different perhaps you recognize evil easily or more so than others or because of great faith ,you seem more inclined to look into God's word this may be because of these two gifts,last healing and working of miracles well these are probably more visually evident healing is usually done by someone who puts there hands on another believer and prays for a healing or recovery and without clear explanation they are healed! Miracles well this could be small or large in scale but it is usually enough to make someone say I can't believe that happened! This is not my area of expertize but I believe if this is your gift,you have seen some truly unexplainable things happen for the good! Interpretation of tongues follows this and rounds out the club but this is by far the hardest for me to understand I know people who have this gift but I liken it to telling someone who has never swam in water, what it's like to do it! Basically someone can speak out in tongues and not totally understand what they are saying but someone with discernment can interpret their own speech,this is all done in an orderly fashion and it is all for edification! If you have this gift than charasmatic evangelism is a place to be to put it into practice, as all spiritual gifts grow as they are developed! , Anonymous,Phoenix Q: Does the Bible have flaws in it? A: This is probably seems to be the toughest question we get today with people asking this as they are being witnessed to! The answer is factually no! The fact is that it is actually the one question we have the most supporting evidence for! (UPDATE) A full copy of the Book of Isaiah was discovered at Qumran. Even though the two copies of Isaiah discovered in Qumran Cave 1 near the Dead Sea in 1947 were a thousand years earlier than the oldest dated manuscript previously known (A.D. 980), they proved to be word for word identical with our standard Hebrew Bible in more than 95 percent of the text. The 5 percent of variation consisted chiefly of obvious slips of the pen and variations in spelling." From manuscript discoveries like the Dead Sea Scrolls, Christians have undeniable evidence that today's Old Testament Scripture, for all practical purposes, is exactly the same as it was when originally inspired by God and recorded in the Bible. In laymen's terms these manuscripts are the same as when they were delivered by the Prophets! The Bible has scene centuries of wear and tear, it has since its very beginning become the most common book in print! The coolest thing about it is, wether you go to Africa,(ethiopic text), or Rome (Greek text)or Israel(Hebrew text) or Syria(Aramaic text) or any other number of places in the world, you'll find one thing , the copies of the originals match, they all confirm the authenticity of the other copies. What I mean is this let's say the Apostle Paul gave a copy of the New Testament to John the Beloved ,who went to Greece, and then a copy to Timothy ,who went to Jerusalem while he went to Rome, with his copy ,each and every one of these copies matches the other, and then you have copies made from these, now the facts are this errors can be made ,tough it's not likely in the same spot by two seperate people and this is because most will copy correctly,but let's just say we find 5 of these copies which never circulated in all different parts of Asia, but we found them 1500 years later! What we are finding not only from the copies but other preserved scrolls is that the text of recent copies match almost word for word ancient copies ,this is the clincher because they have matched and can be verified by the 25,000 copies we have all around the world from different periods ,we see the copies that match this keeps fakes or forgeries from taking a foothold! But you ask what about it is the Bible true all of it! There again the answer is yes! The reason it is yes is because the canonized version of the King James 1611 takes one thing into account for scripture to appear in it's context and that is that it is all first person testimony for example the Apostle Luke witnessed Jesus,his life, his death ,his buriel, and ressurrection,and this means he wrote according to his eyewitness account! Not only that other scriptures verify what Luke said he saw! So we find the Bible in it's entirety to be written by those who witnessed the acts contained therein. The Church had no reason to believe the Gospel of Thomas for example was Divine because it was not able to be validated as first person testimony,and secondly it was not corraborated by other scriptures of it's time ,and yet we now know it was written by the Agnostics centuries later! So you see first person testimony with evidence of corroborating scripture is needed to substantiate claims of divine scripture! You can't get very much more evidence then the person who witnesses an act ,we put people in prison for life if just one person claims they saw them commit a crime, well the bible is powerful testimony of honest men and what they saw first hand not to mention that most of Jesus followers went to their deaths through beheadings claiming all the while the testimony they gave was correct! Why would they do this if Jesus was a fake they wouldn't die for a fake would they, and ten of them did exactly that saying Jesus was the Messiah all the way to the end now that's powerful! And the deal about the bible being written 200 years after Christ's death is also false scholars now say that from A.D.55-90 Most of the New Testament Gospels were complete!, Anonymous,Phoenix , Q: Are you sure that pre-tribulationism is right,couldn't mid trib be right? A: Well I will say to you that this argument for tribulation being pre-trib isn't all that old say a few decades and mid trib or pre-wrath isn't a very popular version ,but in the bible the arguments for pre-trib are made very convincing by scholars,but I have looked at both and even though I have a pre-trib site I am leaning towards a mid trib belief, because of some new revelation I recieved from a study on mid trib this week, the book of Matthew says that both the sun and moon will fail ,let's look: Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: Matthew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Matthew 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." After really looking at this and several other passages I may have to conceed that because of the damage to obvious things such as the visual ability to see the sun and the moon we may actually be suffering some form of tribulation and let's face it a Tsunami that kills 200,000 or more isn't exactly not tribulation, tribulation maybe somewhat before Christ appears and maybe the key lies in the seven trumpets. from what I hear ,but this is always debateable and it is my opinion only!!, Anonymous,Chandler , Q: Why is it that all my life God has been like a myth that someday I will face rather than a real character in my life? A: According to many passages in the Bible God has revealed himself to men and with what most pastors tell us today he continues to do so! If it's a word of exortation and it proclaims "Jesus is Lord!" it is said that this is done only by the spirit of God in the believer! Then we find this passage in Ephesians, Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with which ye have been sealed for [the] day of redemption." This is puzzling to some Christians if you just read this passage and think about it,it actually implies"Ethos" or the "Greek" for God within! It actually isn't all that hard to notice God's presence if you are walking in his word,(Bible)obeying his commands there in and as he put it,in the Book of Matthew! Put the kingdom of God first then all things shall be added unto you! God's presence is inclusive in this all things |
Q: If I am looking for Bible Prophecy on the horizon,what may I look for next to happen ? A: Well you want to keep an eye on several places in the world,Russia and the European Union, Russia leads an armed invasion towards Israel in (Ezekiel Chapter 38-39)this however happens in the tribulation period, when believers have been removed from the world(RAPTURE), but we can watch Russia regain it's political and military power and it's dislike for Israel, and the newly developed European Union is looking forward to Bible prophecy in which a "A king of fierce countenance will stand up!" he is the one the Bible warns us of the Antichrist!"(Daniel Chapter 8) These are all end times situations, Next we look to Syria and China. Syria's main city ,Damascus, is destroyed and becomes a ruinous heap! (Book of Isaiah Chapter 17),Damascus although embattled in 732 b.c was never totally destroyed ,it remains the oldest city in the known world at around 8 thousand years scientifically speaking, but biblically Assyria has been a major player in many early biblical wars,Syria is looking to being wiped out totally in the near future, so watch this little country with great interest and when war is mentioned in the same sentence with Syria you might want to read (Isaiah 17) or just know the end is near! Next China well ths country is refered to in the Bible as the "Kings of the East" ,Revelations 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. Revelation 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon." China also in the tribulation proceeds to send it's armies against Israel,so look for China to grow increasingly tense in foriegn policy with Israel not to mention the fact that if China decides to invade Taiwan will Israel try to defend Taiwan this scenario is possible as the U.S,Israel and Taiwan are allies but y'know I go into more discussion on this endtimes forecasting on my "ENDTIMES NOW" page on this site so check it out for more answers! Concerned,Phoenix Q: Please tell me how it is the "endtimes" when people have said that for decades ? A: Your answer lies in the Bible and the people who can tell you truthfully when it's near can be found in the Book Of Luke! The fact is that nobody can precisely answer the question fully,but certain truths can be found in Luke's Gospel that speak of those believers who will understand endtimes and it's approach! Luke 14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. (This means a believer or one who knows God should be living a life of putting God first!) Luke 14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Luke 14:29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Luke 14:30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. Luke 14:31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? Luke 14:32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. Luke 14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. ....Ok to my point who is it that you know (That fits the above criteria!) who ever said it was the endtimes 30 years or more ago??? Did this person fit as a disciple of Jesus Christ in the Gospel of Luke above?? Could it be that a Christian told you it was the end years ago,and if so ... ??? Did you know only 10% of Christians read the Bible, How much of those 10% actually seek with some endeavor to understand the Gospels or the New Testament?? The problem with this question is that indirectly most people are not themselves aware of endtimes events I have run into many people who do not even have the slightest understanding of Revelations 21st Chapter and yet they have heard of Armageddon! Why because it's interesting Blood up to the Bridles! Death and Destruction abound! What is key in learning the Bible is context or what does that verse mean in relation to the others around it! When does this take place or that! But what I think happens is that we hear a rumor and then it just gets bigger and bigger until all those around just accept it as fact! Even when it is not!The bible states we will not know the hour or the day! In fact it does tell us within a generation all things shall be fulfilled! What is all things? (everything)! Now that is found in the Parable of the Fig Tree! (Jesus is asked by his disciples about the endtimes here is his reply!) "Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. Luke 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. Luke 21:29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; Luke 21:30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. Luke 21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Luke 21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled." The Answer: When you can look in the news and see how disasterous this world has become Israel encompassed with terror on every side! China our next world superpower and don't forget it is a dictatorship! They kill their own! Kim Jong Ill of North Korea mister I.C.B.M himself just trying to get the warheads all lined up then it's time to launch! Maybe it's M.Ahmadinejad President of Iran who want's just to wipe Israel of the map that would only take a few hundred megatons of spent Nuclear reaction to do that! Maybe it's the United Nations who wants the United States to give up it's guns and privacy rights and turn them over to a liberal one world government! Maybe it's the natural disasters that wiped out 283,000 people in a single day from an Indonesian Tsunami! Maybe it's the 2005 Atlantic Hurricane season that passed all previous seasons for Hurricane damage ,intensity,and named storms! Maybe it's the Democrats and the Republicans that can't really ever agree on what their constituants want! Maybe it's the way Christianity and Islam are getting along these days?? Will their be war soon? Maybe it's the fact that one of your eyelids is stuck and you need desperately to open it and take a shovel and clean out the wax in those canals of your ears!" Look around folks this isn't getting any better it's exponentially getting worse! Maybe the Pope will convert to Islam like Iran asked him to do the other day??? Please!!! Maybe Venezuela will shut off the 12% of U.S. oil supply annually that may mean were gonna be car pooling soon! You see when the dictator of Red China decides he want's Taiwan back as a province of China you might want to take cover,three Chinese military generals have declared publically that China is ready for full scale nuclear war with the United States if it interfears. Guess school will be closed that week! I don't mean to belittle the situation but for those of you who are not seeing this you need to get aware! | Q: What about curses and hexes and Mo Joes are they real? A: My experience after years of dealing with Demonic situations have now lead me to take another look at curses and hexs as we now understand them and after this first question was asked to me I have to say now that these things are in fact real and that they can cause individuals to experience different forms of loss and hardship I remeber the case of a family that had an object that after we prayed we believe God told us to remove the item from the home after we did the family began to experience freedoms that they hadn't realized in months or years for that matter. Now I don't believe Christians can be cursed personally but I do believe they can take objects to themselves that are cursed! Which may cause them to experience some sort of dryness or lack in a certain area! This is all a very fine scale I am suggesting because a curse can seldom be measured because which if any of us can see one working to hinder us ,that's right we cannot see any visible evidence and it is only when we experience breakthrough we look back and say it seems to me as if it was cursed. Pray for God to remove any cursed items from your home! God knows how to get rid of them!Editor Q: What about when a family member or friend dies because of cancer isn't God responsible ? A: Well the loss of friends and family is extremely hard to deal with emotionally, and sometimes mentally! I will however try to answer the question like this! With a question like this you have three possible alternative views to how this could happen,the first: from a basic non theist world view, "things just happen, and eventually everyone is going to pass away, how it happens really only is superficial their unbelief in the Bible, we see Jesus responding to how several died after a towering building collapsed and he concluded by saying don't give any heed to how death takes place but be aware it does take place, at an uncertain time therefore be aware! Our days are numbered! Second: We have a theist world view that infinetely God is at the root of all things and thus he is responsible for this death, because he knows the how and when of all things and he could stop it if he wanted to! Third: We have a Christian Theist view, God has given man "choices", with these choices man can either choose to initiate good or define evil! Evil isn't merely a thing but more or less a creation of those who influence,initiate and direct it! Evil is the sin that decays our mortal bodies it is the sum total of all or any bad choices we or those around us make! If you live in a house with smokers who love to smoke you have reaped the choices of those around you,God didn't tell them to smoke they chose to! So a more clear way to say this may be that God doesn't want puppets he gave many a choice to mankind,mankind without God is failure.. But let's really look at this evil first and who controls what actually happens here on Earth according to the Bible ,GOD's Word it will be pointed out to us in the Book of Luke!In this brief discussion between Jesus and Satan we see who controls the kingdoms of the Earth so let's look! Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. Luke 4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. Ok the Devil has all the power this means Cancer,Injustice,Death and all his other ideas included acording to Luke 4:6 So as I see it in Revelations Chapter 21 that all of the perfects we expect in this life are not gauranteed,but in God's heavenly kingdom their will be no death or disease,and because of his infinite mercy he has given us life anyway after our natural death takes place,what this means is our family members who have passed have actually moved on to more of what God has for them, and left this sinful world behind! Maybe as we enter the Kingdom of God we will be saying how sad that we left our family behind they would be happier here! We know they are now! Rejoice for the Kingdom of Heaven is nigh! Ok that's brief ,Please understand this the Holy Bible, God's WORD to his people,is not to be messed with, adjusted for your comfort level or rationalized to fit your purpose, if you were to read your Bible about the time you got to Exodus and Moses says to God "Who do I tell the Jews you are that sent me!" God replied" tell them the I AM!, sent you!" Sounds somewhat like dad before he lays it all out, I don't think you would ask your papa twice for the keys to his new car if he said no real loud the first time let alone, the great " I AM"! | Q:Why is it that Islam and Christianity are always in chaos against each other,Why do Christianity and Islam have such violent pasts? A: This is a very tough question to answer but if you look at the principals of both Faiths the answer becomes clear! Let's look at Christianity first In the Holy Bible(kjv)in the Book of Genesis it is said that God made Adam and Eve and set them in the Garden of Eden and gave them several edicts over the animals and care of the garden,but one edict was that they must not "eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil" for in that day they will surely die! What did they do? They ate! Then later we see God deliver the enslaved Jews(his chosen people) out of Egypt and led them into the wilderness with Moses and of the things he gave them, he told Moses the "Ten Commandments" were to be delivered unto his people and followed! Several of these Commandments were "Thou Shall not kill" and "Thou shalt love thy Neighbor as you love thyself!" another was "You shall love the Lord thy God,with all thy heart and thy soul and thy mind!" This is Christianity! before I go any further with these being the major precepts of God,then why is Christianity so violent or it's past so violent? Well the prize goes to the one who said it isn't really Christianity if it doesn't follow God's edicts now is it?? Let me ask you this if I throw a bucket of yellow paint on your house and you tell the police that I threw red paint on your house, what has just happened is, I committed a trespass against you and you lied about it to others, of course, some of what you said was the truth it was paint and it was thrown on your house, but it was yellow and not red like you said! Much has been laid onto Christianity that isn't Christianity if we followed the commandments as God asked I would be painting your house and you'd be cooking me dinner! There is always someone who just isn't happy unless a lie enters into the picture! They say I will affiliate Christianity with murder because the Crusaders used swords and killed for the church! The Bishop lied to the congregation and now he is gonna be removed! Sadly enough most people are so uninformed that they just believe this garbage,The fact is this many men have done things in the name of the Church that never had God's approval. People then come along and say well they are Christians so look this is what Christianity is??? Is it??? Is it really??? Did they obey God's commands and follow his precepts in the Bible?? NO NO NO they did not! they will be judged!! Next we face towards the East and look at Islam, Now I am not here to deface any other religion I just report on my findings in the Koran or Quran which ever you prefer to call the Holy Book of Islam several things are asked of a believer of Allah and the Prophet Muhammad ,one of these is in regards to an "Infidel" an infidel being anyone who does not ascribe to Allah as God ,or the Koran as their Bible ,or Islam their way of life! In no less than three passages I have read the infidel is to be met with "Jihad" or war and ultimately destroyed! Muhammad is the apostle of God; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. As we can see, pillage and plunder is condoned in the Quran as a punishment for non-Muslims who resist Muslim armies. In the verse above, Muhammad even says that wantonly cutting down palm trees of an enemy town is acceptable. The importance of military fighting for Islam * 2:216 Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But God knoweth, and ye know not. Fight the non-Muslims to submission or conversion * 8:38-39 Say to the Unbelievers, if (now) they desist (from Unbelief), their past would be forgiven them; but if they persist, the punishment of those before them is already (a matter of warning for them). And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in God altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily God doth see all that they do. * 9:5 But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for God is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. * 9:29 Fight those who believe not in God nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by God and His Apostle, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya [tribute] with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. * 9:123 O ye who believe! fight the unbelievers who gird you about, and let them find firmness in you: and know that God is with those who fear Him. * 47:4 Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been God's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of God,- He will never let their deeds be lost." My Response to the above on Islam and the Quran what I read and certainly heed from this is that Muslim precepts from their very own Bible say war is justified righteous and with purpose! The purpose to kill the Infidel. I find that violent and without candy coating these passages they are evil!
