Episode 2 - Fear is the path to the Dark Side-Yoda - Entertainment

-Ok heres a basic out line of the plot for EP2....

Like the Empire Strikes Back, EP2 will probably be the most
romantic of the new trilogy. Anakin Skywalker will be much older, proabaly 18 to his early twenties. He and Queen Amidala will become an item and their wedding will take place in some part of the film. Anakin will also begin his descent to the dark side as Darth Sidious grows more in power. The clone wars will also be in the film based on the mention of them in the orginal trilogy. Sidious is set to play a prominant role in the start of the clone wars.

-C3PO is the one who tells Anakin of his mothers fate.

-Anakin will have a scuffle with Watto and have a fight with Jabba the Hutt

-Gradulla and Jabba will have significant roles in episode 2

-Yaddle(the other Yoda-like creature) is female! this will be noted in episode 2

-Han Solo may make an appearance fixing a bike

-Yoda senses something is wrong and flees with Ki-Adi Mundi, before the attack. The rest of the council is killed.

-There will be Millenium Falcon like ships (Corellian transports) in epsiode 2

-Kitster is Bobba Fett hence the name of Fetts ship (Slave 1)

-Mace Windu will reveal that Maul was once his apprentice.

-Palaptine is not Sidious. Sidious and Palpatine become the same person in episode 3 when Sidious gets killed.

-Sources say that the annoying Jar Jar Binks will make a
return in Episode 2!

-The release date for Episode 2 is supposedly May 24, 2002

-Preproduction is under way at Fox studios Sydney, Australia
and principal photography is set to begin in June 2000.

-Lucas will write and direct Episode 2 with EP1's Rick
McCallum returning to produce EP2 with composer John
Williams returning for EP2 and EP3.

-Characters confirmed for EP2 are

-Obi-Wan and Mace Windu are set to have bigger roles in EP2

-Episode 2 takes place 10 years after the actions of EP1

-According to Lucas Episode 2 will see "Darth Sidious take
over the Republic, turn it into an empire and control
everything".

-I an interveiw Lucas stated that Anakin was "the chosen
one" and not his son Luke. He said the topic will be
explained in greater detail in episodes 2 and 3

-Actors recently dubbed as playing the Anakin in EP2 are"
Leonardo Dicaprio
Ryan Phillippe
Joshua Jackson
James Van Der Beek
David Schwimmer
Harry Connick Jr
Matt Damon
Rick Schroder

The Anakin part is still unchosen however there are sources
that say Lucas offered Dicaprio the part and he turned it
down.

-C3PO will not be completed in EP2 but will have more
covering on his legs and upper body.

-Rick McCallum recently hinted that there a new sith may
emerge by the name of Darth Deteori.

-Darth Maul easily one of the best characters in EP2
will not return for EP2 however there have been rumors
circulating that he will as clone.

-Episode 2 and 3 are set to finally explain the mystery
of the clone wars.

-Boba Fett will appear in EP2 and may even figure
prominently.

-There will be romance between Anakin and Amidala in EP2
with a wedding in there too.

-Episode 2 will be filmed entirly digtal

-According to Rick McCallum the episode 2 script is set
to be finished around September.

-Dark Sidious past is revealed, he was trained by a mysterious character

-Planet Tatooine will erupt in a great civil War

-We will see the appearance of Tarkin

-We will see the first plans and sketchs of the Death Star

-Mace Windu will be killed by a mysterious clone.

-Qui-Gon Jinn will return as a mentor to Anakin (as Obi-Wan was to Luke)

-The chancellor will be revealed as Darth Sidious

-Mace Windu has a double edged purple lightsaber!

-Anakin returns home to rescue his mother however she dies in the process

-The secrets behind Darth Mauls Tattoos will be revealed in episode 2 and 3

-Episode 2 and 3 will have a budget of 120 million dollars

-Shooting for episode 2 will begin in April 2000

-Filming for episode 2 will take place mainly in Australia as well as New Zealand, Tunsia and Italy.

-Rumor has it that Dath Maul will return and that Anakin will kill him. Shmi is kidnapped and used as bait to lure Anakin to Sidious.

-Mace Windu will betray the Jedi council and injure Yoda.

-Rumor title for episode 2 is : Birth of the Empire

-We will not see Naboo in episode 2 until Anakins Wedding (the end of episode 2)

-Currently the working title is "yellow harvest" (remember the working title for return of the Jedi was blue harvest)

-Towards the beginning of the script the Republic senate votes battle droids illegal.

-Anakin will find and free his mother and the slaves with the help of Amidala, Mace Windu and Obi-Wan.

-Darth Sidious will clone Obi-Wan and the clone will kill Shmi.

-The Boonta Eve Race will be present again in episode 2, only we won't see the race. Anakin gets to Tatooine exactly after the races. We will also learn it took place at Beggars Canyon.

-Bail Organa will adopt Leia as a special favor to Amidala and Obi-Wan. Amidala is meant to re-marry Bail in epsiode 3, when Anakin (now Vader) kills her without knowing it. ( supposedly he destroys her ship)

-On Tatooine Anakin learns that Watto sold Shmi to a Bounty Hunter who later killed her. Anakin is about to kill Watto when a spirit of Qui-Gon Jinn shows up and tells him that to kill Watto would be to fall to the Dark side. Instead Qui-Gon Jinn tells Anakin to free the other slaves and with the help of Amidala, Obi-Wan and Mace Windu.

-The Mandalores ( not Mandalorians, the name has changed) will be in episode 2. Supposedly they will be exterminated. The last armor will be Fetts ( while armored , he will be played by Jet Li)

-There will be probwlms due to Palpatine regualtions. Probably, the Jedi Council will be dissolved or move away from Couruscant. The reason: They felt Sidious presece at Coruscant. Supposedly they didn't in epsiode 1 beacuse Sidioud was not alone (he was with Maul) which meant the dark side was difficult to detect.

-Another rumor is we finally meet the sewer life of Courscant. An important deal with the Mandalores is settled down there.

-Theres a love triangle between Anakin, Amidala and Bail Organa.
