with many picturesque ruins dating back to the
early18th century. Water is supplied from the Martha
Brae River (famous for its rafting) which runs through the property.

Montego Bay airport. One mile from the famous 18th Century Good Hope Hotel
and its extensive riding trails. The property itself is in a very beautiful, almost
New England-like area of the island, with rolling hills, stone walls, lush countryside
and views of the Cockpit country and the mountains.
The Great House has a distinguishing great room, with
cathedral ceiling, which runs the
length of the front of the house. There are four
bedrooms, two with full baths and two with showers,
in addition to a first floor sitting room and another
room suitable for an office or den.
A wrap-around verandah is at the rear of the house
on the second floor with stone stairs
down to the back terraced lawn. French doors
on three sides allow entry to a large
beautifully proportioned upstairs room, perfect for entertaining.
Other buildings on the property would be suitable for
conversion to staff or
guest cottages or offices. Minutes away from the
world-renowned
phosphorescent bay at Glistening Water, deep-sea sport
fishing, the golf
courses at Rose Hall and Half Moon, and the beautiful
beach and villas of
Silver Sands at Duncans. Other area attractions

Rose Hall Great House, reputedly the home of the wicked
White Witch.
