Project Name: Customer Contact

Description:
The system, Customer Contact is being developed as product to effectively manage the
usage of Collection Solutions by the various clients of FDC. The system provides an intelligent querying
option which takes away the decision control from the end-users who are mainly the collectors and
managers. It has a bookmark module, which stores all the customer information when queried first and
this bookmark is used for subsequent queries, thus, avoiding hitting 'hot tables'. It also provides as
information bank on database access and the total elapsed time the user hitting the database and using
this tool for effective billing purposes.
Environment: The system was developed in Oracle 7.2 server with Export, Import, SQL*Loader, SQL*Plus 3.2, PL/SQL 2.2, running on DYNIX/ptx V4.1. Oracle Enterprise manager is used for monitoring.

Project Name: SalesBook

Description:
The system, SalesBook 4.2 for Oracle, is a multi-user on-line Transaction Processing
system. The database has a maximum of 100 concurrent users and around 25 remote users, who
connect to the Oracle database to synchronize their Laptop database running Watcom/Sybase SQL
anywhere, with the Centralized Database. Synchronization process includes moving data to and from
Oracle Database, specific to the User and his privileges.
Responsibilities: In this project my task includes the conversion of existing Database in SYBASE SQL
Anywhere 5 to Oracle which includes System Tables, Database Tables, Views, Procedures, Triggers,
Integrity Constraints object relations, Sequences, Indexes, Private and Public synonyms. The Size of the
database was around 3GB.
