IXchange is a web-based version of Xchange 3.0.
It’s a 3 - tier application (Distributed Application) and is developed using PowerBuilder 6.x and HTML. This system comprises of multiple PowerBuilder application servers for business logic as well as database access. Middle tier PowerBuilder application server is used for session management, Business objects as well as creating dynamic content for HTML pages, which are presented to the browser. Used NAME SERVER for load balance on the application servers.

Role: Involved in designing web pages, creating the base frame work, and developed Compliance / RIA Blotter and Commission / Revenue Modules, Coding objects on server, Testing and Debugging. Used FrontPage-98 to create the Html pages for Internet client interface.

Xchange
Xchange 3.0 is distributed version of Xchange 2.2, which is an existing client server application.

Xchange is a system developed for FSC field representatives for managing their customers, accounts, registrations, commissions and for placing mutual fund wire order. Following are some of the major modules of this system:
Client maintenance: Allows rep to maintain information such as EZ client, client compliance info. second party info., household link capability, various client reports and client asset info.
Wire order entry: ability for the rep to enter detailed transaction information for mutual fund wire orders as well as preview previously entered orders and formal confirmation on orders from FSC.
Access to perishing online system: Ability to access information from perishing clearinghouse data on the system called Broker View.
Compliance and Registration: Legal information pertaining to field rep.
Commission Information: Allows rep to inquire and obtain reports on payment and schedule payments to the responsible field rep.
Marketing and Product Information: Allows rep to view marketing literature on the services and products offered by FSC or associated partners.
Role: Involved in enhancement and bug fixes of Maintenance and Approval of Compliance and RIA Blotter transactions, Revenue Reconciliation and Product Information, Design and development of screens, testing and debugging. Was also involved in estimates for future enhancements and database changes. Used most of the features of PowerBuilder like inheritance function polymorphism and encapsulation. Lease Management module keeps track of all the lease and real estate property tax information for all stores maintained by Auto Zone Inc. Was involved in Low level design, Prototype development, Development of screens, Unit Test plan preparation, Design and coding, Development of Stored Procedures, Code Walkthrough and reviews, Testing and Bug fixing.
