ESCHEATMENT UPGRADE
This project redesigned the existing escheatment system to eliminate the dependency on vendor code. New functions were developed to facilitate the reproducing of reports and tapes. The registration reformatting process is enhanced to provide a more efficient method to handle reformatting. Some manual processes were automated and a variety of reporting improvements and cost savings steps were implemented.
Role: Involved in writing specifications and unit test scripts for online escheatment facility programs. Involved in Coding, Unit Tests and Quality Checks, and involved in support for test platforms.

HOUSEHOLDING (FAIRWAY OUTPUT DOMAIN)
The objective of house holding project is to combine multiple output products for multiple investment accounts into one package for mailing. House holding is not - grouping, and single mailings. Investment accounts are householded into one account when at least two of the selection criteria are matched on the different investment accounts. Householding main functionality is to create and maintain the house holds and produce requests like potential reports, solicitations, mass householding stratification report .It also serve proxy group which is other domain in output product.

TRAC - 2000 Tuning Project
The goal of TRAC - 2000Tuning project is to enable TRAC -2000 efficiently stored and process large volumes of data. TRAC - 2000Tuning project consists of several different areas; I am involved in Phase I. Phase I includes DB2 technical tuning, optimizing resources and scheduling efficiencies and improving performance of dividend, posting and statement processes.
Role: Involved in Analysis and Study of Existing Procedures and Identify the Critical Path in the Nightly Batch Process. Involved in writing specifications and unit test scripts for query optimization for 24 programs. Involved in Coding, Unit Tests and Quality Checks. Completed the Project successfully before the target date.

Management Information System :
This module comprises of Input-mask, batch reports, and online reports. Batch program consists of daily, weekly, monthly, annual runs. In online data is down loaded from sequential files generated by input-mask into database tables and using Cobol, CICS programs, maps for menus and user input data entries are developed. This facilitates end users to navigate through application various reports like delay flight information, revenue information, flight performance, frequency of flight...etc. are generated interactively in QMF.

This is one of the critical business applications that are to be migrated from Unisys system to IBM mainframe ES-9000. This is thoroughly a batch application which involved in understanding of the existing system, their job submission language (EXEC-8), programs which are written in FORTRAN(ASCII) and COBOL have to be changed to the current versions and JCL's to be written to compile and execute this programs.
