He has been concentrating on two areas, Multiple Financiers and Systematic Redemption Annual CDSC Waiver. The goal of the Multiple Financiers is to Link a financier to a lot that will provide the means to generate new reports at the financier level, allowing fund sponsors and financiers a more effective tool to track account activity at the appropriate level. The goal of the Systematic Redemption Annual CDSC Waiver is to capture an accounts value(Market & Chargeable), and calculate an annual waiver amount that can be redeemed, free of CDSC. If the systematic redemption amount exceeds the annual waiver amount, that amount is subject to CDSC.

Long term Capital Gain Change Project
The project involved updating DST’s proprietary TA-2000 software for mutual fund shareholder processing. This project is the consequence of a new regulation change distinguishing the existing Long Term Cap Gain scheme into two schemes of 28% and 20% rates based on the holding period of the securities.
Role: He was involved in system study, user requirements, impact analysis and identifying the programs to be modified during the first phase of the project. During the second phase of the project was part of the team involved in creating the detailed specifications and unit test plans with the help from the client’s business analysts. Was involved in coding, unit testing, peer review, system testing, parallel run and implementation of the changes.

Year 2000 Conversation Project:
The date fields in data files and screens were expanded to fit century field. Code changes were made where ever required. The main objective of this project is to remove the year 2000 problem. In solving Y2K problem we merged sliding window protocol with clients methodology. During the implementation of this project we used utilities like SUPER C, and debugging tools like X PEDITOR.
Role: Involved in changing the Data Fields, Coding & Testing using X-Peditor

Carrier Affiliate System
Affiliate Schedule System is a batch system where in the agencies sends the SSIM (Standard Schedule Information Manual) in the defined format to the NorthWest Airlines. The objective of the system is to load the SSIM manuals in to the respective tables with which NW will be code sharing and assign NW flight number to the affiliate flights. This also takes care of the Traffic restrictions on the flights, and publishes schedules for flights operated by the NW.
Role: Involved in coding and testing of the program specifications received from the on site
