TRAC II Enhanced reporting project will provide the DSTs clients operators a fast and easy method of producing annual and quarterly report packages for various audiences, such as plan Sponsors and auditors with out DST intervention . Several of the reports generated from the on request jobs set up in JOBSUB will be modified to meet the current industry Reporting Standards.

Project: E02 Bundle Project:
E02 Bundle Project incorporates the seventeen new fields to the existing E02 table. Due to this enhancement some of the Batch and Online Programs in the TRAC-2000 need to be changed. Enhancement was needed for the programs that referred to the E02 table and mainly the programs that were doing Insert, Update , Delete on E02.
Role: As programmer/analyst, he converted the program logic, coded new programs and tested the functionality. He was involved in system study, user requirements, impact analysis and identifying the programs to be modified during the project.

QuickStart Implementation
QuickStart is a checkpoint/restart interface that will allow batch programs that access a Data Base Management System to be restarted from the last checkpoint (commit) without any manual intervention or restoration of database files. At a restart, QuickStart will automatically reposition all sequential input and output files , either on tape or disk, enabling the application program to continue from the last checkpoint. QuickStart will also restore working storage as it existed at the last checkpoint.
Role: Responsibilities included identifying the functionality of the programs , coding (implementation of QuickStart) , unit testing and quality control. Involved in system testing, implementation of changes and providing support across various testing platforms before beginning production.

Mid Term Capital Gain
The project involved enhancing the Distribution (DISTRIB) facility of DSTs proprietary TA-2000 software application for mutual fund shareholder processing. This project is the consequence of implementing new regulatory changes and facilitating the calculation of new events. The regulatory scheme was to distinguish the existing LONG-TERM CAPITAL GAIN scheme into TWO schemes of 28%(mid term) and 20%(long-term) rates based on the holding period of the securities. The project also included in its scope, the facility to calculate the new SPECIAL DIVIDEND TAXABLE and NON-TAXABLE events.
Role: Responsibilities included system study, impact analysis and identifying the scope of the project. Based on end-user requirements, created detailed program specifications and performed coding, unit testing, peer review and quality control. Involved in system testing, performing parallel runs, implementation of changes and providing support across various testing platforms before beginning production.

BSCS software conforms to GSM (Global System for Mobile Telecommunications) standards. Important functionalitys provided by BSCS include Customer Care, Pricing, Billing, Sales Administration, Inventory Management, and accounting with on-line interfaces to multiple vendor supplied switches. BSCS software assists the Mobile Cellular Telephone Network Operators to carryout their business operations.
Dealer Commission Handler (DCH)
As a Senior Software Engineer was involved in user requirement analysis. Developed and implemented a module Dealer Commission Handler using Visual Basic 4.0. To calculate dealer commissions for each member of the distributing structure depending on commission models. Distributing structure consists of a distribution channel, Sales Agents, Dealers and outlets. Dealer Commission calculation done once in a month.
Bill Generation Handler (BGH)
As a Software Engineer was involved in user requirement analysis. Developed and implemented a module Bill Generation Handler (BGH) reporting system in Crystal Reports, Visual Basic 4.0 with Oracle 7.1. The system generates invoices for customers depending on their call scenario (Call origin number, destination number, date, time, and duration). This module has different options for running bill like, on demand billing for a particular customer, running in control group mode for test purpose and running for all the customers in current bill cycle.

Purchase and Sales Information System
As an Programmer/Analyst was involved in user requirement analysis. Designed and developed a Purchase and Sales Information system using Visual Basic 4.0 with MS-Access 2.0. This system maintains Purchase Bills, Sales Invoices and Invoice collection details. In the collection of invoice amounts, the system automatically allocates the amount for each non-payable invoice. The system shows the current stock availability, regarding size and quality. The system generates various reports like payment wise age analysis, Profit analysis, Purchase and Invoice reports etc. The system also shows the graphical form of sales and purchase statistics.

The Foreign payments involve the payments outside the Germany. It automates the payments generations that are due from the current date.

Workflow (Win-flo) Automation System
Win-flo is a structured document based workflow automation system. The system has two individual but inter-related modules. Builder and Router Builder allows the system to be programmed to meet the needs of a specific organisation. Router automates workflow based on the way in which the system has been programmed using the Builder application.
Form Builder: Define an organization, define staff, define designation to staff, designing of forms, defining the route for the designed form and defining various form states.
Form Router: Mailing of forms, receiving forms for the mail system, view status of forms sent and printing of the filled forms.
