1998
1998 was a great year for the Red Sox. Even though the Red Sox were overshadowed by the Yankees, they still had the 2nd best record in the AL, and dispite a loss to the Indians in the Divisional Series birth, they season was not at all disappointing. They were as good a hitting team as they were in 1997 if not better, and their pitching stepped up big time. The Red Sox look to be going nowhere but up in the future.
