THE RAIN 
The rain comes falling down across the plains and fields.
Taking me far away to a land, a land I have never been.
Back to a time before I knew what trouble and heartache were.
Where the only trouble I knew was the little girl that broke my heart.
A land where the fields were green with hue
And the skies were such pretty navy blue.
Where the night skies were always mystic and full of stars.
That keeps you watching as they twinkled from afar.
Where the joyful birds sang their song for me to hear.
As though they were my friend that were always near.
The land, the land I have never known, I thought to myself, as the wind had blown.
A raindrop woke me from this land that I have never known.
And carried me yet to another land, another time.
As in the rain we kissed for the first time, as yet another dream had arisen.
PASSION
Somewhere we lost ourselves
With each others touch, oh your touch
Wake me, or met me on the timeless hills
Where your embrace causes the world to sit still
I have sit like a rock on the shore
Waiting for your kiss, Waiting for this moment
The moments that last forever
Embedded in my heart as deep as the river
Your kisses that I treasure
Keeps me up at night with great passion
Wondering what had held us back before
Now you have a place inside me I will hold and adore
MEET ME ON THE MOON 
Meet me on the moon tonight,
I will be there waiting for you.
I want your loving eyes in my sight,
On the tip of the moon, which from here looks blue.
I will be waiting with a rose in my hand,
Waiting patiently, no matter how long it takes you to show.
I will be on the moon with only you as my plan,
Waiting while your song is playing in my soul.
When you get here we will dance a song,
It doe’s not matter what tune plays.
As long as I have you here where you belong,
So, when you are lonely during the days.
Look up at the moon at night,
I will be there waiting for you.
OUR CHILDREN 
Soft blond hair whispering in the wind.
Skipping rope and dancing with a grin.
Lovely green eyes that sparkle in the sun.
Dress up and riding bikes, all just for fun.
Precious memories of playing in the rain.
When you are a child there should be no pain.
Full of love and a heart big as a tree.
Love for everybody and everything except maybe broccoli.
Careless and carefree, yet young and bold.
Not a worry in the world what the future will hold.
Let’s all take time to watch, love, play and guide them.
They are our children now, but will grow up and someday sing our hymn.

Warm misty moonlight,
Waves rippling in the sea.
Calling out my name,
Come, come follow me.
Come follow me says the sea,
I’ll take you to places you only dream of.
Peace and happiness you could not imagine,
Your spirit will fly like a dove.
The sea ever rippling as if to call me in,
Come follow me says the sea.
I will never disappoint your troubled soul,
I will show you love that is worry free.
I’m sorry I say to the sea,
Oh, I want you to take me away.
Then come follow me says the sea,
As I turn and decide to stay.
MY SISTER 
She came to me many years ago.
Filling my life with heavenly glow.
She watched over me, not saying a word
Her spirit flying high as a bird.
She taught me how to run and play
Never wanting anything but love trough out the day.
She was the one that taught me right from wrong.
With her I always knew I belonged.
With out her I wonder where I would be today.
I may not of ever learned how to love or pray.
She was my sissy
I was her bubba.
I will always miss and love her till we meet in the place,
Where she told me she will be.
IN HIS CHAMBER
In his chamber late at night,
With thoughts running wild through his head.
Thoughts of his childhood,
Thoughts of tears that he had never shed.
Lost loves, broken hearts,
Of the past he had never known.
A heart as cold as ice,
Cursed by the hours spent alone.
Memories that linger,
Thoughts, thoughts that have died.
Another heart, cold and alone,
Now, no one, no one by his side.
All his love has left,
Out of his heart and his cold soul.
Left alone, lonesome,
A path that him, his self had sown.
THE ROSE 
When life gets rough think of me, the rose.
I stand in the hot summer sun only to wilt,
In the hail and rain only to get beaten,
And left in the frost stricken nights to die.
Trough all of this I grow more every year.
I’m still admired on my arrival for the beauty
And radiant colors I share with others.
MY FRIEND
I could hardly believe it when I heard you where gone
You were my friend, a part of you made me strong.
You have left us with no chance to say bye,
You will be missed and the memories will make us cry.
You have touched many people with out knowing,
We will all remember your words and ways while we are still growing.
I know we all are suffering right now, more then you,
You are watching down and starting your life anew.
You will be missed forever more while you are away,
But if I may, all the favors you have done for me there is one more for which I pray,
Tell my sister and Papa that I love them as you join them in harmony.
ALONE
I set here late at night.
Trying to think of something bright.
Like my children that are so hard at play.
And keep me company thourghout the day.
The green grass and blue skies above
And the wonderful gift of Gods great love.
The beautiful stars that light the sky.
The mischievous look in a child’s eye.
All these things are wonderful and great.
For a while you forget the worlds hate.
But what does it all mean. The world and above.
If for you, this late night there is no one to
Share any love.
ANOTHER DAY 
Another day is gone, the end of night is here.
What did this day mean, was it all in vain I fear.
What in this day did I accomplish, and what good
Deeds did I do.
The thought of what I have done today,
Going a thousand miles to help a stranger.
Going one step for a loved one.
Will it really mean anything tomorrow is what in my
Mind will linger.
Will any single person remember when a hundred
Years are gone.
Another day is gone; the end of the night is here.
What did this day mean, was it all in vain I fear.
MORNING
The morning sun rose,
Giving off a soft glow over the trees.
The green grass wet with dew,
The morning wind giving a slight chill.
The robin that watched as I picked up my paper,
The trees talked to me with the rustling of their leaves.
So much to enjoy, the fresh smell of the day,
Knowing autumn is finding its way.
The sight of the colors of the world offered to me,
On such a beautiful day.
The feeling of the morning air,
Gives my skin a chill.
Only one thing missing,
Your loving touch that I long to feel.
YOUR LOVE 
Words can not say it, the love burning deep in my soul,
Like a wild fire, my heart is burning out of control.
The sight of you puts me in a trance,
Your presence makes me want to dance.
The touch of your hand melts me and makes my head light,
Your deep beautiful memorizing eyes makes my day bright.
Your lips so soft and yet strong enough to make me feel lost,
Your tenderness makes me want to be with you no matter what the cost.
Your love is deeper then the ocean is blue,
I would be a lost soul if I had never held you.
TOUGHTS OF YOU 
I see you everywhere I go,
It is you I am thinking of so.
In every smile I see,
It is you that is smiling at me.
In the morning sunrise with beauty to behold,
It is you I want to touch and hold.
Why are you haunting me?
Your sprit taunting me.
My mind is distracted with thoughts of you,
When you are not near, I am blue.
What will it take to get you out of my head?
“Nothing” you will be there till I’m dead.
MY RAINBOW
You are my rainbow,
Filling my life with a glow.
Filling an emptiness,
A lover I am glad to know.
As I travel the highway of life,
It will be easier now that I met you.
You have the beauty of a rainbow,
Making my heart light and anew.
LOST
Restless night music playing in your head,
Bringing back old memories, some warm some cold.
Knowing everything that has happened in your life has made you what you are today.
As you age you wonder why? And what for?
Probably more so, than when you were a young child.
Wishing sometimes that you still were.
As the night wears on and the music is drowning, you also realize you are also.
Drowning in the pain that you have always pushed aside.
The feelings you have always hid except from your own heart.
The tears that you yourself only know as they stream warmly down your cheek.
As the music fades you realize your soul has faded even more so.
The love in your heart is washed away in the rain and trampled with the mud.
The dreams are lost in your soul never to be fulfilled,
As you sit and want to scream, you hold your breath knowing you would be the only one to hear.
SOME SAY, I SAY
Some say love is a blessing,
Which gives you inner peace.
I say the blessing of love is you,
Because your presence is in all I do.
Some say love is a beauty,
That the heart itself can only see.
I say the beauty of love is deep in my soul,
Which only you alone can control.
Some say love only comes once in a life,
Which sometimes is found too late.
I say the beauty of love is life, sharing it with you,
For what would life be if you had not came into it?
Some say, I say, you are my blessing,
Sharing your beauty making my life full.
BYE MY LOVE
Bye my love, good bye,
Oh how I will miss you so.
Your tender ways, your I love you,
Your kiss that you use to blow.
So many ways that you melt my heart,
Why could you not stay.
The walk in the rain while holding hands,
And the thoughts of yesterday.
Now my sweet love you are gone,
I will miss you in my tomorrows.
I do not know how to go at it alone,
With out you my heart will be full of sorrows.
Now I am only glad you came into my life,
Even if it was only a short while.
For even if you are gone,
The memories will make me smile.
TOUCHING
If I lost my hearing today,
I could never forget the sweet melody your love played for me.
Each note filling any emptiness I may have,
The sound of your voice and laughter that are etched in my heart forever.
If I lost my sight today,
I would only be left in the darkness of your realm.
I would always see your smile and sparkling eyes looking back in mine,
While overcome from your beauty, which I can feel as I hold you in my arms.
If I lost my smell today,
Your fragrance would always remain in my mind.
Driving me wild for the sweetness of your kiss that I long for while you are not near.
Never to be forgotten while I ran my fingers through your hair,
And enjoying the softness of your skin, thus my mind will remember always.
If I lost my touch today,
I would still be able to feel your touch from my heart.
You have touched my heart from away that will never be forgotten,
From deep within which could never be removed.
If I lost you today,
I would surely walk through this life deaf, blind, and numb.
For you are my sound, my sight, my fragrance of life and the touch I have always long for.
THE PAIN
The sun sets with your head resting on my shoulder,
Both of us stare in each other’s eyes as the wind gets colder.
Our thoughts on each other as we touch,
Knowing we both want this night so much.
Desinty brings us here as it also takes us away,
Our hearts and tears tell us we want to stay.
We both know there has been too much pain,
To turn our heads and try to start over again.
So as we part too never share our love and life,
I walk away with the feeling of being stabbed with a knife. 
NEVER ENDING
Like a bird flying,
Like a baby crying.
The sun that sets in the west,
The moon and stars that never rest.
The wave in the ocean that keeps rolling in,
The angel that tries to save you from sin.
Never dying, just bleeding, needing something to believe in,
Something, someone, that never fails after born.
To rid a heart that is full of scorn.
Give up, give in,
What the hell, it well never end.
AN ANGEL
I held an angel in my arms tonight,
Even though it was just for a moment.
She made everything seem so right,
I know she was heaven sent.
Lying in my arms,
Wings broken.
Lost in her eyes,
I road the storm.
Lost but finding my way,
For her, for me?
Who knows?
It was meant to be,
For eternity?
Maybe not.
But for a moment,
I held an angel in my arms.
A memory,
For eternity.
BROKEN HEARTS
She told me she loved me right out loud.
With out me saying a word or singing a song.
But I was scared to show my feelings so I hung them on a cloud.
I thought it in my heart and knew we did belong.
How could I do this, deny her deep love for me.
I ran like a frightened child from a bad dream.
I have been hurt before, I thought to myself selfishly.
And for this I break our hearts once more.
I GIVE YOU A ROSE
I give a rose to say I love you straight from the heart,
A flower that was meant to show my desire.
The red in the rose reminds me of your lips,
Soft in color that can set my heart on fire.
The thorns of the rose prick and hurt,
Like our love does when we are not so certain,
Of each other’s love on occasions.
But like the green in the stems of the rose
We are strong and know that we will never close the curtain.
The pedals are soft to the touch,
Like the tears that we shed when we are apart.
Like the rose our love blossoms full of life,
I give you this rose to say I love you, straight from the heart.
DARKNESS
Is the dark something we see or not see?
When it is pitch dark do we see the darkness or do we not see anything in front of us?
Is the vagrant in darkness because he can not feed himself? Or are we, for not seeing how to help him?
Are our troubled teens in darkness for the crimes they commit? Or are we, for not knowing how to teach them?
Is the mother of a needy child in darkness? Or are we, for not lending a hand?
I know these questions don't have no rhythm or rhyme.
I guess what I am asking is when we sit in darkness and can not see, do we really have to be so blind.
DANCING IN THE WIND
Dancing in the wind,
She mysteriously appears.
Her hair moves with the wind,
As her face disappears.
Whirling around, floating with all her beauty,
The stars no longer shine; they just give a soft glow,
For they are hid by the beauty she bestows.
The rain starts to drizzle,
So as it may put off a rainbow to show her wonders.
The moon sits so the sun may rise and see her.
The birds sing quietly, the crickets chant their song,
As they take pride in offering her music for her gracefulness
The trees sway to the music that only nature can play,
The world stops spinning long enough to embrace this moment.
A moment of beauty and peace never known.
Everyone from all over the land will never forget her,
Dancing in the wind.
LOST HEART
Where have you gone,
My dreams have left with you.
I am no longer a boy,
But a man, a week man with out you by my side.
Your warmth has left me,
Your presence though still haunts me.
Come back I ask, I beg,
Feel my heart with joy once more.
Before it dies and forever is still.
Touch me and hold me again,
Never to let go.
The world does not need another lost soul.
We loved we laughed, we embraced,
Now you have left me.
My heart is turning to stone,
Till you find me once more.
LOVE IS 
Love is happiness, the way you feel inside.
Love is misery, when there is no one to whom you can confide.
Love is loneliness, when someone you miss is gone.
Love is a crowd, the family to whom you belong.
Love is yesterday, all the memories of the past.
Love is tomorrow, because you know it will last.
Love is everything; everything everyone wants if they could.
Love is nothing, nothing that can be understood.
