| I am writeing to disagree with the outragous comments that astrology is a science. I study nuclear astrophysics an find the idea poposterous. There is no way that the universe can have a predictable effect on our lives. The theory was started by frightened ignorant people who knew little science. Things like astrology are used to explain the enexplainable. The ainchant people are no different from you or I, by which I mean they know no better than an eneducated person about the way the universe works. Now physics has devoloped to an advanced level of understanding there is no place in the educated community for such extinct practice. The stars or whatever out there you think has the effect cannot be predictable even if it did affect us. The universe is expanding, this means that the universe is dynamic and that everything is moveing, if everything is moving in chaotic fashion how can you predict the effects when even the weather can sometimes be unpredictable. A scientific subject is the study of physical objects that can be observed or represented by mathematical models. You may say that I do not belive so there fore I do not understand. But the fact is there is no physical evidense on any scientific scale to support astrology. And it is certainly not a science. It shams me for you to call it such. can only think that stars and planets ant the such could effect us by their gravitatinal force. For if you consider such objects the only external force they can all emit is gravitational force. How can any one belive that this is true, if you do then what about invisable dark matter, and the huge gravitational pull of black holes. How does astrology account for these of is it convienently swept under the floor. I'm afraid that astrology is never goint to become a science. People use the term to help astrology gain credability. It is nonsensicle rubbish left over from a time long ago. Nany discoveries have occoured since them to help us understand the universe.astrology was true the mathematics involved would confuse mankinds greatest super computer. A human would certainly not be able to do this. However it is your belief and i mean you no offence, I hope to try to help you see the total lack of foundation, other than the past, with which astrology sits.
