PREPARING FOR THE BATTLE:
I would strongly suggest that you use Squall, Irvine, and Quistis.
GF PREPARATION
Squall: Eden, any others
Quistis: Any GF
Irvine: Doomtrain, any others
You should also have a healthy supply of Holy Wars, which you can acquire from refining the Gilgamesh Card. Make sure that you have the following commands equipped.
COMMANDS
Squall: Magic, any others
Irvine: Summon, any others
Quistis: Item, any others
EQUIPMENT
Squall: Lion Heart
Irvine: Exeter and AP Ammo, Pulse Ammo, or Fast Ammo
Quistis: Any weapon
MAGIC
Aura

To initiate the battle with Omega WEAPON, you must first enter Ultimecia's Castle. Head straight until you reach the Switch Point outside of the chapel with your main party. Now, switch to your secondary party. Head right from the main room until you reach a bell. Have the leader pull the bell, and a timer will start. Now is the time to rush to the nearest Switch Point. Once you switch to your main party, enter the chapel before the timer runs out and you will see the massive, hulking beast known as Omega WEAPON.

OMEGA WEAPON
HP:
LV1 - 111,105
LV100 - 1,161,000
ATTACKS: Terra Break (Around 10 hits, 4000 dmg each to all party members), Megido Flame (Massive damage to all members), Ultima, Meteor

Just to give you an idea of how difficult this thing really is, imagine fighting Emerald and Ruby WEAPONs from Final Fantasy VII--in the same fight. Well, more or less, that's exactly what you're up against.

To begin the battle, have Squall and Irvine on either low HP, or have Squall cast Aura on each of them. After that, let Quistis use a Holy War, rendering your party invincible.
Here comes the fun part. Cast Doomtrain on Omega WEAPON. Even though it is immune to all status effects, the Vitality-0 status will still affect it. Have Squall and Irvine rip off their limit breaks like no tomorrow, and after every three rounds or so, have Quistis prepare another Holy War. With practice, you should be able to use another Holy War just in time.

The trick to this is...Omega has so much HP, that if you have one Holy War too little, or not quite enough ammo, things could turn the table right in front of your nose. If you don't renew your Holy War fast enough, one Terra Break is quite capable of killing a team of Lv 100 warriors. Without LionHeart, this battle is hopeless anyway, seeing as it is the only technique capable of dealing major damage to the beast.

ALTERNATE, RISKY STRATEGY
If you really think you've mastered this game and don't need another challenge, or you just want the reward without doing the work, set the battle mode to Wait. When this is done, initiate the battle with Selphie in your party with a high level and at 1 HP. Make sure she gets a Limit the first turn, and keep trying the slots until you see a spell called 'The End'. If you cast this, Omega will go down in the first turn without a struggle. Of course, you won't get that from any strategy guide.
