| It is always nescessary to keep and maintain a file on all your ferrets. This will show your pet's medical records and vaccination histories. It is important to keep your ferrets up to date on their vaccinations. By doing so, and noting it in a file, you will be able to prove that your pet poses no threat to humans. In your file, also prepare identification and care sheets for each ferret. Take photos of your pet, in case it gets lost, and write a detailed description of what your ferret looks like. All of this information will be important if you are separated from your ferret, and someone else has to take care of your ferrets. Your written instructions may be your only means of communication with your pet's temporary care taker. |
