| Dixie Dazzle Productions is becoming a leader in the pageant world with preliminary pageants in North Carolina and soon in South Carolina. State competitions are held in the summer of each year. We focus on the whole child and place little emphasis on clothes. We do no pro-am modeling and feel children should never be taught to use their bodies in suggestive ways. We stress education and and award our children for their academic excellence. Sportsmanship is always our first goal and tolerate no bad behavior from parents or contestants. We believe pageants can be fun and healthy if conducted in a like manner. Included in our preliminaries and state competition are categories for beauty, sportswear, photogenic and talent. We try to keep our pageant entry fees affordable so all children may have a chance to compete. We do several pageants a year where our children compete in casual and Sunday clothes only. This allows children who cannot afford expensive clothes to know the fun of competition. This project helps collect school supplies for homeless children in our area. If you would like more information about this project please e-mail me for more information. We encourage all pageant systems, contestant and parents to become involved in a worthwhile project. This promotes community involvement and awareness to the plights of others.
