George Town, located on Grand Cayman Island, is the capital and principal port of the Cayman Islands. Cruise passengers enjoy the clear waters along with the varied marine life in this snorkeling, scuba diving and watersports center. Approximately two million cruise passengers per year (6,500 cruise visitors per day is the government limit) visit Grand Caymen although it does not yet have a cruise ship pier which means all passengers must be tendered to George Town.
