Decisions
We all face these decisions
But how we deal with them
Tells more of where we will be
Then of what we will be
So look calmly into the storm
It merely reflects all that might be
Rather than what is
For when we face rage
It too backs down
For nothing in life
Comforts like peace

Day of Reckoning
When we walk alone
We move without burden
No chains to hold us back
Freedom to do as we like
Needing to answer
Only to ourselves
The choice is ours alone
So heed to the requests
But choose from within
For when the new dawn
Breaks over the Eastern sky
It is us alone
That must answer
To the previous day

Perceptions
The root is the essence of the soul
The stem is but the foundation,
of the soul
The bright blooming flower is,
the awakened soul
Its scent is the lasting spirit
of the soul
So when you stop to admire the plant
Look at the total picture
Absorb it all ...
Leave nothing out
For its sum is magnificient
And should never be taken for granted
