ATTENTION: When you click on link above and read our page you will see what we had until we were put out of business by repeated spraying (to close) by St. Lucie County Mosquito Control! If anyone has any resources that would help us as we invested everything we own and cashed annuties etc. We worked 7 days a week my wife and i for 1 year and 7 months teaching kids, groups etc. . Any help appreciated, We could do this again if we had a park etc that wanted to put up structure or a Philanthropist that wanted to help as for now the county broke us. Land of Butterflies was a 5,500 sq. ft. was a screened enclosure full of beautiful free flying butterflies with an overhead misting system for helping keep you cool on those hot days, beautiful butterfly gardens, airconditioned gift shop, snack bar, plenty of free parking for cars, busses and large groups. We also book large groups, Birthday Parties, at low special rates which include butterfly house and miniture golf . You must call ahead and reserve large parties or groups.Everyone gets a tour included and then stay as long as you like. We also have a 18 hole miniture golf course with a nice big waterfalls. We are easy to find on a major highway( U.S. Federal Highway 1) not to far from I-95 or the Florida Turnpike. Get off I-95 at Midway( go east on Midway to us # 1 turn right for few hundred feet on right) or from Florida Turnpike at the Fort Pierce exit, go east to us# 1, turn right , go to Midway Road, we are a few hundred feet( on U.S. 1) south on the right. Hours Wednesday - Saturday 10-4, Sunday 12-4. We do birthday partys,school groups, churches, assisted living etc all at very low rerduced rates! Its a very educational tour and then stay as long as you wish.
