SCHOOL INFORMATION
Who is the course for?
The course is intended for people (male or female) who wish to apply for a position as a Personal Assistant, Butler, Valet or other Household Personnel in a private household, embassy, passenger liner, hotel or guesthouse.
What does the course involve?
The course involves attending the school for a period of 6 weeks, during which time all theory and practical aspects of the course will be delivered. Training will be given in a classroom, and private residence to ensure that students will have the best opportunity to develop the required practical and professional skills. It is intended that students will wear appropriate attire during training sessions.
Course information
The course covers all aspects of employment for all household personnel. Teaching sessions will include written work, practical training, role-play and visits as appropriate. Comprehensive handouts will be provided for many aspects of the syllabus. The course also gives the opportunity to take certification in associated subjects. At the end of the course successful candidates will gain certification in Food Hygiene Management, Basic Health and Safety, Food and Beverage Presentation, Silver Service, Management of the Butlers Office, Etiquette and Protocol and the Preliminary Wine & Spirit Education Certificate. Students will receive the School Certificate, which shows they achieved the level of Competence and Professionalism required for employment.
