Teddy bears are very special to me. My teddy bear is my best friend...at least, what he symbolizes is. When I was a child I would come to my big, white, hugable, lovable teddy bear, Snowball. I could cry on him and he wouldn't push me away. If I talked his ear off, he would never tell me to shut up. When I just needed a hug, he would hold me until I let go. He was always there for me, and I loved him.
Just recently have I realized that God is the perfect teddy bear. He is always there, ready to listen. He'll never push you away, never too busy for your smallest concern, never judgemental or selfish. He's your shoulder to cry on, the ear who always listens. And more than just listening, He has the Words of Eternal Life! If you talk to Him, He will answer with love! God is Love, and THE teddy bear. Remember, you always have a friend in God...and Love is just a hug away.
My prayer is that these quotes, poems, and verses will comfort you in the everyday struggles of life. Remember to lean on Him...and you'll always be okay.
Love in Christ always,

Today's Bible Verse:
"By the tender mercy of our God, the dawn from on high will break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace."

I love the ocean, and one time I was in LA and I went to the ocean. I love to call the waves to me. Everybody thinks I'm nuts! So bathers look at me and say, "Oh, look at that nutty nun!" And I was calling the waves and all of a sudden a big one came. It got bigger and bigger. The people around me were yelling, "Run, run!" But I couldn't, I was stuck. So this wave came up and went up to my knees. A drop of ocean went onto my hand - it was like a little rainbow in the sun. I thought, "Oh, Lord, I shouldn't have that." I threw it back in the ocean. The Lord said to me, "Angelica, did you see that drop?" I said, "Yes, Lord." "That drop is all your sins and weknesses," He said, "and the ocean is My mercy. If you looked for that drop, would you find it?" And I said, "No, Lord."
God's mercy is infinite; He absorbs and forgets our sins. If kids knew that, they would rise up in this life, band together, and do something great for God and mankind.
